Xbox Germany: Release Dates Revealed for Redfall, Minecraft Legends, Forza Motorsport, and The Elder Scrolls Online – Redfall, Minecraft Legends, Forza Motorsport, and The Elder Scrolls Online expansion pack release dates will reportedly be revealed at the forthcoming Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct, according to Xbox Germany.
Xbox finally confirmed Friday that it will hold a “Developer Direct” event in two weeks to provide additional information on titles like Redfall, Minecraft Legends, Forza Motorsport, The Elder Scrolls Online, and more. This follows months of rumours in this regard. As of now, all we know about the event is that we’ll be watching some in-depth gameplay videos for the games, but a post from Xbox Germany may have hinted at further information.
According to VGC, the blog entry on the German Xbox Wire contains a few lines that aren’t in the English version and indicate that the release dates for several of the showcase games will be disclosed. The post has since been modified to remove any mention of a release date, suggesting that it was an unintended disclosure and that Xbox would prefer to keep that a mystery for the time being.
“Developer Direct will focus on fantastic features, thorough gameplay displays, and first-time revealed release dates for great Xbox titles coming out over the next few months, including The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall,” the prior article stated.
It’s unfortunate for Xbox to lose the sense of surprise in this scenario, but it’s important to note that we already have a reasonable notion of when some of the games at the showcase will be released. Insiders previously asserted that Redfall is aiming for a May 1 release date and that, like Forza Horizon, a premium edition will grant early access.
It was highly likely that we would learn the release date during this showcase because Minecraft Legends has a pretty fixed release timeframe of “Spring 2023.” The most elusive of the aforementioned games is Forza Motorsport because it has been under development for a while. For more details, we’ll have to wait until January 25.
