Although Wolverine is renowned for his healing abilities, his daughter Laura Kinney discovered a means to counteract them. The solution is disgusting but very easy.
The two things that make the mutant boxer Wolverine renowned are his lethal claws and his unstoppable healing ability. However, his daughter X-23 discovered a very easy technique to cancel out his healing, allowing her to tear Logan to pieces with her own claws while making sure he couldn’t recover.

Logan is one of the most difficult mutants on Earth-616 to kill because of his healing factor and adamantium claws. Had he not persuaded her to stop by begging with her not to kill herself in her drive to halt the creation of new living weapons, she could have been able to finish him off with something more permanent, like drowning or incineration.
