Witcher 3 Next-Gen Patch in Final Stages – Addressing All Issues Soon – According to CD Projekt Red, it has been discreetly working on a comprehensive patch that would fix every problem gamers have been having with The Witcher 3’s next-gen update. The company has assured that this patch is currently in “the final stages” even though there is no specific release date at this time.
NEW WITCHER 3 MOD BRINGS HENRY CAVILL’S GERALT TO LIFE WITH FACESCAN TECH

Over a month has passed since The Witcher 3 received its free next-gen update, which added modest visual improvements for PCs and consoles in addition to fresh content based on the Netflix TV series. Naturally, the update also brought with it a number of new visual flaws and technical problems that affected all platforms, which has caused many players to put the game on hold for a while. After detailing some of the most frequent problems, the devs remained silent for more than a month despite widespread pleas to release the patch for the next-gen edition on social media and CDPR’s forums. The good news is that they appeared to be active.
RETURN OF HENRY CAVILL (THE WITCHER) TO NETFLIX?
Marcin Momot, the global community director at CDPR, broke the silence on Twitter by announcing that the studio had been “quietly working on this update” and that the team appeared to be “in the last phases” at the moment. Sadly, Momot did not provide a release date for this desperately needed patch, but he did promise that it “shouldn’t be long till it gets out.”
We've been quietly working on this update for W3NG and it looks like we're at the final stages. Shouldn't be long until it comes out. We'll share more info the moment we can! In the meantime, we really appreciate your patience! https://t.co/QGWXHnDbPN

According to community feedback, the most prevalent flaws in The Witcher 3 next-gen update include frequent ray tracing mode crashes, glitching and underloaded NPC textures, especially during cutscenes, poor overall performance, and even missions that are broken and unable to be completed.

Hopefully, the next patch will fix all of these issues, allowing players to play the game uninterrupted once more. However, it is unclear why CDPR chose to dismiss the numerous fans’ inquiries on social media for so long instead of sooner acknowledging all of the problems with The Witcher 3’s next-generation update.
