According to blockchain company GALA Games, it has struck a partnership with both The Rock and Mark Wahlberg for two separate films.

Gala says the collaboration is an "exciting thing for the ecosystem", describing it as a "huge opportunity to bring in an extremely large number of users onto our blockchain."

Gala has confirmed Gala Music and Gala Film will use GALA as its gas token.

What's certain is that the crypto community is very bullish on these announcements, with the GALA token price increasing around 50% in the last 24 hours.

In addition to the celebrity partnership, Gala has moved to the mobile gaming space.
