The Xbox September Update

Microsoft has released its September update for the Xbox Series and Xbox One consoles. This update features a completely revamped game library, customisable colour options for the Elite Series 2 controller, and more.

Xbox Wire revealed the details, with the biggest change being the updated game library. A redesigned My Games and Apps section provides access to everything the player can play, whether it’s in their own library, through Xbox Game Pass, Games with Gold, EA Access, etc.

Microsoft has added the ability to change the colour of the Xbox logo light on the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 in the update as well.

In addition to choosing the base color, the player can also select the hue and saturation. The update also brings more flexibility when it comes to storage locations, with the player now having the option of selecting different installation locations

like expansion cards, external hard drives, and so on from the get go rather than having to move things over after they’ve already been installed on the internal drive.

A new “Let Xbox Decide” option can also be selected, which will install the game in the fastest drive available. In addition to Xbox Series X and S, the Xbox One and Windows 10 and 11 now support party chat noise suppression.
