The Dandelion Quest Walkthrough, How To Beat The Dandelion Quest In Wavetale – You begin Wavetale on a charming tiny island, assisting your grandmother in gathering sparks to chase away the doom. As a storm goes by and gives you the opportunity to meet a shadow companion that Doris doesn’t particularly like, this serenity and peace will soon be ripped from you.
You’ll go out on a trip to return some power to your lighthouse, but gradually this will become a conflict to preserve the entire world. You can ask Moira in the An Inside Job quest whether the seed you have will be sufficient to lift the darkness.
How To Get Inside The Dandelion Quest
The location will be very dark and overcast once you pass through the conduit and fall back into open waters. There is only one path you may take, and The Dandelion will be there to welcome you. The snake that is close to the dandelion will be there, but it won’t necessarily strike you just yet.
The serpent will release three striders at you as you draw near; you can fight them by leaping high above the water and repeatedly slicing them. Even while it’s not required, doing so will make your task much simpler.
You can drag yourself to various electric bars and ring launchers on the serpent’s body, which are visible even from a distance. Since there is no other way to enter The Dandelion, you will be using these. Pull yourself up to the electric bar on its body to begin.
At the end of the trail on your right, there will be a ring launcher above you. Drag yourself up, and then swiftly pull yourself to a front grapple. You may also just hover to the platform in front and use that to reach the grapple.
When you reach this grapple, the serpent will slightly turn, and a second pullable grappling will be visible on a height. There will be an electrified bar there when you reach the second grapple. Take the path on the right side once again to reach another electric bar and a ring launcher on this red platform.
As you are being launched, a second snake with a ring launcher will appear close to The Dandelion, as seen in the image above. To get to the most crucial ring launchers, follow this serpent’s course and jump upon a few launchpads. When you defeat these launchers, the game will appear to be moving slowly.
To enter the area with the core of the gloom, often known as the last monster, use the remaining three ring launchers on the serpent’s body and then one on The Dandelion.
How To Defeat The Core
It will appear to have its own brain as you begin the struggle with the core. Several various attacks will be made during this battle, so you’ll need to remain alert because quick reactions are crucial if you want to win.
Ground Moving Attack
The boss takes the ground away from you in this attack, which is the first one you’ll encounter while fighting the core. The boss chamber is separated into four quadrants, and you’ll notice that the boss’s current quadrant briefly turns red before vanishes.
You’ll be dumped into a pit of gloom where you’ll continuously take damage if you stand where the quadrant vanished. Once you’re within this pool, it can be very difficult to get out.
It will start to vanish up to two quadrants at once as you advance in the battle and reach the boss’ latter stages. Even if you’re in the midst of the quadrant, you must double jump as soon as you notice the platform glowing red in order to evade this attack.
Once you’re flying high in the air, utilise the hover ability to descend to the area where the boss is now standing and engage it in combat. Because the boss will swiftly take away another quadrant once the first one returns, you must attack during that time.
Once the core has taken enough damage, it will remove two of the quadrants and remain in the removed area. One or two serpents will approach the windows at this moment and begin hurling darkness clouds your way. Though these clouds are transient, you could easily become overwhelmed by them.
Keep moving around the platform to avoid the serpents’ attacks; don’t stand stationary for long stretches of time. The dismal clouds won’t touch you if you keep travelling and don’t immediately turn around and go back the way you came.
The core will return to the centre once they are through assaulting, but it will remain elevated as it creates a number more gloom monsters. To bring the monster back down so you can resume slicing at it, you must destroy this horde.
The game’s last objective will conclude once the core perishes in a stunning cinematic in which Moira remarks that while they’re still far from normal, it’s a start. After this, you’ll be in an open world where you can explore any area and pick up any side quests or diaries you missed.
