Admiral Peppie’s location will be indicated as a checkpoint on the scale at the top of your screen once you have watched the cutscene in which Little Cassius and Grandma discuss the plan. The ships will stop at specific points along the way, blocking your route with a group of striders or the black fog. You’ll need to wait for the ships in one of these locations, so try not to get too far ahead of them.
In this lovely game, you can basically just relax and enjoy the music and the water mechanic while learning more about the environment. There is some fighting involved, though.
