Warzone 2 Helicopters Randomly Exploding Without Warning, Warzone 2 helicopter glitch / bug / error- Choppers are death traps on the battlefield in the current day. They are too slow to outmanoeuvre a shoulder-launched surface-to-air missile, which Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has a lot of. They are also loud and easily seen. Short flights are acceptable, but staying in one of those whirlybirds for more than a few minutes is begging for a missile to hit you in the face.
Due to a fresh problem that has appeared in Warzone 2, getting into a helicopter’s bucket seats is currently even harsher. Helicopters are randomly exploding above Al Mazrah, as Reddit user latenitelover observed.

CALL OF DUTY WARZONE 2 BONUS CHALLENGE NOT WORKING? HERE’S HOW TO FIX THIS ERROR AND ISSUES
It’s impossible to know what happened, but I did see the helicopter from last night suddenly pitch up right before it blew up, almost as if it had slammed into an invisible wall at high speed. According to PC Gamer, the original Warzone game also had randomly exploding helicopters that may have mistakenly assumed they were running into mountains. This continued the concept of helicopters interacting inexplicably with in-game topography. Even as recently as last month, a helicopter was seen flying through a structure as the pilot used the blades to dispatch enemy soldiers. Somehow, the chopper flew off unharmed because this wasn’t perceived as a collision.

This bug isn’t included on Raven Software’s Trello board, so either the QA team is unaware of it or doesn’t think it’s important enough to note. Most likely because they’re currently negotiating a contract with Activision after establishing the first union for the corporation in the summer of last year. The union brought up several issues during the conversations, but Activision seems to be taking its time with each one. Additionally, the QA teams at Activision Blizzard receive among of the lowest salaries of any game developers on the West Coast, so they may not have much incentive to keep Warzone 2 bug-free. After all, you get what you pay for.
