    Upcoming Game 2025: In the next three years, Don’t Nod will release eight games

    Upcoming Game 2025:Don’t Nod, the developer of Life is Strange, plans to publish eight games before the year 2025. Five of them will be self-published, one is a joint venture with Focus Entertainment, two are being developed by external studios, and one is a joint venture with Focus Entertainment.

    It is all based on Don’t Nod’s financial results for the second quarter of 2022, known as its half-year results. It has been a good year for Don’t Nod, with operating revenue up 16 percent from last year largely due to publisher fees and capitalized production income.

    Later in the document, Don’t Nod reveals its plans for the future, which include a number of games. Currently, Don’t Nod has “eight original creations” in its pipeline, “including five self-published games, one co-production with Focus Entertainment, and two with external studios Tolima and Tiny Bull.”

    The action RPG Don’t Nod is developing with Focus Entertainment, currently known as “Project 8” internally, is already known, but nothing more is known. A Belgian game studio founded this year, Tolima has no games to its credit as of yet. The Italian company Tiny Bull Studios has produced the VR thriller Blind and the Lovecraftian choose-your-own-adventure game Omen Exitio: Plague. Both studios have not yet confirmed what they are working on, which will be published by Don’t Nod.

    The other five self-published games are still unknown to us. Even if we assume that Don’t Nod will make a third Life Is Strange, there are still four titles that remain unaccounted for.

    Since changing its name from Dontnod in May, Don’t Nod has been largely radio silent. Gerda: A Flame Of Winter, one of its most recent titles, is a narrative-driven classic role-playing game set in Nazi-occupied Denmark. As a civilian trying to survive in the war-torn country, you must avoid Nazi soldiers and scavenge for food and supplies while troops roam the countryside.

    Rhiannon Bevan gave Gerda 4.5 out of 5 stars, with her only criticism being that at times, she became too engrossed in the story. Gerda: A Flame Of Winter is available on Steam and the Nintendo Switch.
