The Witcher: Blood Origin stars revealed the possible return to wider Witcher franchise
Zach Wyatt, Lizzie Annis, Lenny Henry, and Mirren Mack discussed the plot of the prequel miniseries, which is set 1,200 years before the events of the main series, in an exclusive interview with Digital Spy.
The actors have discussed the possibility of crossovers, and given that the show makes use of a number of flashbacks and time travel elements, there is plenty of room for the events of Blood Origin to be weaved into Geralt’s plot.

“Absolutely and always, would be my answer to that [returning]” said Annis, who plays Zacaré on the Netflix show: “It was the most special experience. It would be a total privilege. I suppose we’ll see where it takes us. We’ll see what emerges – fingers crossed.”
Similarly to her co-star, Mack, who plays Princess Merwyn, expressed her desire to return to the world: “I can only hope. I would so much rather return and rejoin this universe, she declared. Playing Merwyn was so much pleasure for me. I consider her to be quite intricate and complicated. I could only hope to return in some way.
Henry, who just appeared in The Rings of Power, said that playing Balor proved to be physically taxing, but he would be open to making a comeback if it made sense for the story.
“I think [I would return] if there was another character [or] if Balor came back in another guise,” he said. “It’s an extraordinary place to be, where everyone swears a lot. There’s a thrill to it, [but] there’s a lot of hard work. But I would love to do something in this milieu again, because this is my jam. I can see myself in a loincloth, with a broadsword. Come on! Let’s go.”
The actor who portrays the mage Syndril, Wyatt, stated that he “definitely” would like to return in the role and that there were “so many viable” justifications for doing so.
