Locate the neighbouring Baron’s garden and go to the armourer in Crow’s Perch. Drop into the well, then proceed along the dimly lighted path until you get to the chest that is facing the water.

Cross the lake from Fyke Isle to the ruins located on the little island in the centre of the water by using any nearby boat or the years of a specific set of swimming talents Geralt has earned over a very long career. There is a monster nest with harpies living in it at the Skellige Isles, which are to the left of the Fyresdal marker. The chest is leaning up against the turret on the walkway surrounding the deserted fort.

Mastercrafted Steel Sword
A sunken ship is visible just beyond the coastline in Velen, to the west of the Byways sign. To find the chest behind the staircase, dive below the ship.
Mastercrafted Armor
A staircase is guarded by two mirroring sculptures to the southeast of the Byways marking. A little box with the diagram is behind the monument on the left.
Mastercrafted Silver Sword
A fort guarded by bandits is located next to the House of Respite. Pick up a key by looting an enemy. Use it to open the wooden doors, then peek inside to discover the following chest.
Mastercrafted Trousers
The Old Watchtower is located in Skellige on the island close to the community of Svorlag. Take the box leaning up against the crumbling masonry by scaling the wall to the left beneath the big tree.
Mastercrafted Gauntlets
An abandoned building guarded by a huge winged beast perched high in the sky stands directly above Boxholm. The chest is tucked away beneath the tower wall that is leaning against the structure.
Mastercrafted Boots
The blueprint for the final piece of mastercrafted gear may be found behind the tower close to the rear of the Dorve Ruins in Skellige. To make each gear, go to Crow’s Perch and meet the armourer.

Grandmaster Armor, Trousers, Steel Sword and Boots
The Grandmaster gear set can only be accessed by purchasing the Blood & Wine DLC. Go to the Termes Palace Ruins in the Duchy of Toussaint and turn toward the cave near to the Place of Power. Pick up the ruby at the top of the steps so you can use it to open the barrier in front of you. A group of disgruntled creatures will welcome Geralt.

Break through the wall in front of you, turn right, climb some rocks, then pass through a second wall to enter a secret room.
