This release offers players the option of either staying as Scyther throughout the match or evolving into Scizor, resulting in two distinct play styles. As such, there is much to learn about these Pokemon, requiring knowledge of the mechanics and recommended builds for both Scyther and Scizor.

When To Pick Scyther And Scizor – Pokemon Unite Build Guide

It is important to note that Scyther and Scizor each possess their own distinct strengths and weaknesses, and as a result, they have different recommended playing styles. You will be able to choose between Bullet Punch and Dual Wingbeat when you reach level five with this Pokemon. Using Dual Wingbeat in the pairing with Scyther or Bullet Punch in the pairing with Scizor will determine whether you continue to play as Scyther or evolve into Scizor for the remainder of the match.

Scyther is more of an assassin, possessing moves that are particularly effective against opponents with low health. Due to the lower endurance stats of this Pokemon, it is recommended that you play as Scyther alongside your allies. Ideally, you should play in either the top or bottom lane.

Scizor, on the other hand, is more of a brawler. As this Pokemon, use close combat attacks to continuously damage the opposition, while also regenerating health through your moves. As a Pokemon, you can find success on any of the three paths, proving to be a more well-rounded choice than Scyther.

With its ability to quickly execute vulnerable enemies, this build takes advantage of Scyther’s attack strength and mobility. When used effectively, this Pokemon can knock out multiple enemy Pokemon with its combos and then retreat safely if necessary.

If you wish to remain as Scyther throughout the match, you should begin by selecting Dual Wingbeat. In conjunction with Double Hit, you can jump at an opponent and mark them, resetting all of your move cooldowns when you defeat the marked Pokemon. In light of this, it is recommended that you follow this up with Dual Wingbeat in order to deal significant damage to your vulnerable opponents and potentially knock them out. This Pokemon has the ability to rapidly deal damage and defeat multiple enemies in a short amount of time when this combo is performed successfully.

Considering Scyther’s lower endurance stats, it is recommended that you equip Held Items that enhance this Pokemon’s overall survivability. If you choose Held Items such as Buddy Barrier and Focus Band, you will be able to endure more damage and outlast other Pokemon in large battles. As much of this combo, as well as Pokemon’s overall success, depends on knocking out your opponents, the X-Attack Battle Item is highly recommended here, as it increases your overall damage when attempting to finish off marked opponents.

The build takes advantage of Scizor’s brawler play style, with the tools and ability to deal substantial damage without the risk of being knocked out rapidly. If you wish to succeed, you will need to consistently attack your opponents and wild Pokemon – not only dealing damage, but also regenerating your health.

In order to evolve from Scyther to Scizor, you will need to select Bullet Punch as your first attack. The move entails dash-attacking an opponent, then punching multiple times at the target, each successful punch regenerating a portion of your HP. The number of punches will be increased if this move is used again within a set period of time.

Combining this with Swords Dance will provide you with an additional dash and an increase in attack power. After using Swords Dance, you will gain an additional attack when you have performed eight basic attacks, as each of Bullet Punch’s strikes counts toward this amount.

It is recommended that you use Weakness Policy as a Held Item for this build, since it increases your attack stats after taking damage and pairs perfectly with this Pokemon’s brawler playstyle. Considering that Bullet Punch’s strikes are classified as Basic Attacks, Muscle Band is a good choice here as well. Our Battle Item of choice is X-Speed, which allows you to chase down weak enemies who are attempting to flee.
