Mind Of Madness Daedric Quest – A beggar might be strolling the streets of Solitude, the capital of Skyrim. If you want to be kind, you can listen to his concerns and offer to assist. He will beg you for assistance in persuading his master to come back from vacation before disaster strikes the province.
What isn’t immediately clear is that his lord is none other than Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness, who is currently taking a vacation in the memory of the deceased Emperor Pelagius. By assisting Sheogorath, you can prevent disaster and receive a Daedric artefact that is just as chaotic as its creator.
You begin your journey by looking for Dervenin, a raving beggar in Solitude, close to Bard’s College. He will warn you that his master is away and that if you don’t assist him in solving the problem, terrible things will happen.
The Pelagius Wing of the Blue Palace is where Dervenin’s master is located. In order to help you locate the beggar’s master inside, he will give you a hip bone. It is preferable to avoid giving the matter any thought.
How do you complete the mind of madness in Skyrim?
Within the Blue Palace in the Avenues District is where you’ll find the Pelagius Wing. You’ll discover right away that obtaining a key to the Pelagius Wing doesn’t appear to be simple once you’re inside. However, you don’t have to jump through any more hoops to enter the chamber, which is surprising. Simply speak with one of the maids, like Erdi, to obtain the key for the wing.
If you completed The Man Who Cried Wolf, Falk might also give you the key.
You will enter the Blue Palace and find yourself in a deserted, cobweb-covered area. Just keep moving forward until you find yourself inside the notoriously violent Emperor Pelagius the Mad’s mind.
In this scene, Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness, is engaged in a psychotic therapy session with Pelagius. Until you “treat” Pelagius, he won’t go. He will give you the Wabbajack and instruct you to resolve three puzzles in order to heal the personal demons of the deceased Emperor.
There are now three distinct portions to the quest that can be completed in any order.
Access to Anger Issues can be made through the southeast portal. Confidence, a miniature version of Pelagius, is being beaten up by Anger, a sizable Imperial soldier, there. To help him develop, you must use the Wabbajack on Confidence.
Self-doubts will grow as confidence increases, beating confidence down to a smaller size. Consider how they look and make your adjustments in accordance.
You want to make him big enough to defeat Anger. Simply apply the item to Anger to shrink him and Confidence to grow him. The mission is complete once Sheogorath starts talking.
Next, use the northwest portal to enter Paranoia. In this arena, Pelagius is engaged in combat with two Storm Atronachs and a few bodyguards. Here, you must shoot the bodyguards to transform them into wolves while ignoring the Atronachs.
Night Terrors
Finally, in order to combat Pelagius’ Night Terrors, you must use the northeast portal. This is where things can get a little challenging because you’ll have to switch between firing several adversaries. Here is the proper sequence for using the Wabbajack:
You have finished this mission once Pelagius awakens and the Priest transforms into a chest. To report your successful therapy, go back to Sheogorath. Derevin will confront him and persuade him to end his vacation.
Sheogorath gives you the Wabbajack as payment before he departs. The staff can be used as a weapon during combat.
More than two dozen effects of the Wabbajack are applied to a person at random. Although it is not the most effective weapon, it is undoubtedly incredibly amusing.
When utilised, the Wabbajack will either help you or hurt you, with no way to forecast the result—a perfect reflection of its creator’s realm. It could cast a harmful spell, change the target into cattle, or just instantly kill the target.
