People who have played the games are aware that the Cordyceps virus is carried by fungus spores that thrive in dimly lit environments, primarily indoors, and that characters must protect themselves from them by wearing gas masks. However, it seems that Mazin and Neil Druckmann have come up with another strategy to depict the virus’ spread for the TV show.
Therefore, Mazin continued, “we set a task for ourselves to think of a fresh and intriguing manner for the fungus to spread, but really I think we just connected with the soul and spirit of the game. We won’t know what they’ve come up with until the show premieres, but given Druckmann’s involvement, gamers shouldn’t be too put off by the modifications.
