The Guardians of the Galaxy by Dave Bautista Exit Is Excellent For DCU.

It’s excellent for the developing DCU that Dave Bautista has made it clear that after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, he will stop playing Drax.

Following Dave Bautista’s recent remarks on his time as Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one well-known supervillain’s future in the DCU is promising. After Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 is released in May, the former wrestler turned action actor has been rather outspoken in recent years about his eventual departure from the MCU. Even though Bautista claims that he wants to portray more dramatic parts in the near future to further his career, there is one part in James Gunn’s developing DC shared universe that Bautista would be ideal for following Drax.

Dave Bautista has overtaken other former wrestlers as the top ex-wrestler actor currently working in Hollywood as of 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Along with his role as Drax in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Bautista solidified his place at the start of a number of promising series, such as Army of the Dead and Dune, both of which demonstrated his versatility beyond what the often comical character of Drax allowed.

The actor’s career will undoubtedly grow as a result of his more recent performances in M. Night Shyamalan’s forthcoming movie A Knock on the Cabin and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. However, Bautista doesn’t have to completely give up on comic book movies even though he is edging away from the MCU.

With Bautista’s exit from the MCU, he may now play Bane in the DC Universe.

Without a doubt, Dave Bautista is the ideal option to take on the role of Bane, one of Batman’s most menacing foes, last played by Tom Hardy in The Dark Knight Rises. Although the actor has been the subject of several fan castings for the supervillain.

it seemed doubtful that such dreams would ever materialise given his involvement with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But now that Bautista has said that Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 will be his final appearance as Drax and that the DCEU will be rebooted, the actor may finally bring Bane to life in DC’s new cinematic world.

As a consequence of James Gunn’s new DCU strategy, which will see the Guardians of the Galaxy director assume total creative authority over the film universe, rumours of Bautista’s casting as Bane only intensify.

Over the course of their years working together, Dave Bautista and James Gunn have formed a well-known bond. When Gunn was originally dismissed by Marvel in 2018, Bautista was one of his most vocal defenders. Given their strong relationship and the fact that Gunn frequently involves his friends and family in his work, Bautista already has a leg up when it comes to getting a role in the DC Universe.

The ideal antagonist for Batman’s first DC Universe movie is Bane in The Guardians of the Galaxy

Although the actual scope of the DCEU relaunch is unknown, Batman appears to be a key figure in the DCU’s redesign. Gunn, however, is having a difficult time making this fresh portrayal of Batman stand out from the numerous previous live-action versions of the renowned character.

Not because he hasn’t been used before, but because he has, Bane is the ideal villain to assist in this. Bane has never been faithfully rendered in live-action, despite starring in Batman and Robin and The Dark Knight Rises. Gunn’s upcoming Batman reboot may finally provide fans with the adaption they have been waiting to see portrayed for decades.

Bane is also the perfect antagonist for the debut of the new Batman in James Gunn’s expanding series. The DCU could not only release Bane from the henchman role that he has always played in live-action movies, but also use the supervillain to introduce more fantastical villains from the comics to Gotham.

The Guardians of the Galaxy :Although extremely strong, Bane is a somewhat grounded villain who makes a terrific initial foe for the Dark Knight to fight before the film leans more heavily into ridiculous comic characters as it goes on. If executed well, Bautista’s Bane may portend a very promising future for the DC Universe’s new Batman.
