Exploring As Charlie – Waste Disposal Scene Walkthrough, How To Save Charlie During The Waste Disposal In The Devil In Me

This scene will be skipped if Charlie passed away during your replay at the Incinerator sequence.
After Du’Met checks on the incinerator room at the start of the scene, you assume control of Charlie when he climbs back out of the grate.
To depart, enter the door that is right in front of you. Go straight through here until you see a crate of mannequin parts blocking a hole in the wall ahead. The area outside is now quite open, so do so. As Charlie approaches, it will be to your left.
After moving the parts box, enter the room behind it. The FBI Badge, the lone collectible secret from this scene, is located here. It’s below the FBI jacket hanging on the wall, which isn’t a collectible, on the floor.
When you’re ready, enter the dark workshop through the nearby door. Move toward the platform where the light is coming by using the red light on the back wall.
To restart the power, you can flip a switch here.
You can explore the area if you like, but the trash chute is where you want to end up. When you’re ready to move forward, go to the object that resembles a small garage door with a small conveyor belt protruding out of it and press the red button on the wall next to it.

In spite of what the wall sign says, proceed with the chapter by stepping onto the trash chute conveyor belt. As soon as you do, the action starts fairly instantly, so get ready for some QTEs.
The outcomes for this first action phase are listed below.
Du’Met reappears after you pass past the conveyor belt and starts utilising the garbage compactor. Here, you have two main choices: either go back down the conveyor line, or go into the compactor.
Go Back | Du’Met is just outside the compactor and is able to stop Charlie from escaping. Charlie dies. | ||
---|---|---|---|
Hide | Charlie slides under the platform where Du’Met is dumping trash. You’re made to complete a QTE, and two Don’t Move segments. | Succeed at the QTE and both Don’t Move segments. | Du’Met leaves without seeing Charlie. Charlie survives. |
Fail either the QTE or either of the Don’t Move segments. | Du’Met spots Charlie and is able to stop him from escaping. Charlie dies. |
