In Charlie’s Room – The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me – Cigarettes Scene Guide And Walkthrough
Charlie and Erin return to Charlie’s room at the beginning of the scenario, searching through his bags to make sure the cigarettes aren’t simply missing. Charlie receives a self-help book from Erin that contains advice on how to deal with stress; he thenhurls the book down the corridor. She also gives Charlie one of his own business cards, which he can use to lock-pick larger desk drawers when his tie clip is inoperable.
Charlie can choose to be educational in his reaction or desperate in the face of the circumstance while speaking to Erin about the cigarettes once more. Erin finds an eviction notice for the studio as she searches the bag once more at Charlie’s urging.
Although it isn’t a hint for the game, it highlights the stakes for Charlie and his team in this season finale.
Charlie has two options after giving up on trying to discover the cigarettes in the bags: he can remain calm and not react angrily, or he can become angry. Charlie decides that he and Erin will investigate the hotel bar before dinner, regardless of which of those choices you make.
Finding The Bar – The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me – Cigarettes Scene Guide And Walkthrough
From his room, Charlie and Erin head towards the pub. Here is the first of five business cards that Du’Met has left in this maze of halls. If you’re looking to find all five throughout this playthrough, we have a detailed guide for you.
Your first secret for this chapter is situated on a table on the right side of the pathway when you arrive at the open atrium. When you’re finished reading, go down the stairs and, just before the secret, listen to Erin and Charlie joking around as they search the lobby. Charlie can check the guest book for a secret and jimmy open a drawer behind the check-in counter with his business card for another.
When you’re ready to proceed, enter the closed, unlocked door on the other wall. In this hallway, there is a locked door that you will come across just as someone in the lobby rings the service bell. The key to the bar was very definitely not sitting there earlier; return to the check-in desk to retrieve it.
Use the key to enter the bar by returning to the door that was just locked. Charlie is left alone in the pub as Erin separates from her to conduct her own independent hunt.
The secret is on a table to the right of the door; turn left from the door to find your next photo premonition in the opposite corner.
The Cigarette Machine – The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me – Cigarettes Scene Guide And Walkthrough
When the animatronic bartender answers your question, he or she will finally go online and direct you to the nearby cigarette vending machine.
Another secret is located on the cabinet across from the machine as you make your approach to it.
You’ll need exact change in order to buy the last pack of cigarettes. Use Charlie’s business card to pry open the cash register behind the counter so you may get the change.

Go back to the machine and purchase the cigarettes, which jam as they exit (you can choose whether or not Charlie should angrily strike the machine here). The moment you step away from the device, it will abruptly start to operate once more. Charlie gets another machine jam as the bartender watches.
The sequence ends with them leaving the bar together after some eerie cinematics in which Erin phones Charlie and implores him to join her for dinner.
