The Collector Owl House – The second of three extended specials for For The Future, which will premiere this Saturday on Disney Channel as The Owl House continues its regrettably shortened final act, is now just days away. We’ve been given a brand-new clip to share from the forthcoming episode featuring King and The Collector, as well as a larger version of Andy Flexner’s superb key art, to celebrate the impending premiere and heighten the anticipation. I’m not prepared, and it’s the beginning of the end.
The Collector Owl House Exclusive
The Collector Owl House – After this weekend’s premiere, look for my review of the extended special as well as a few additional in-depth pieces on specific characters that I won’t dare reveal here. The fanbase has done a tremendous job of keeping spoilers under wraps despite the latest leak out of consideration for other viewers, the actors, and crew, who all want to see this show end on a high note. Let’s get straight into this new video clip for the time being.

The Collector Owl House – King still lives! Dana Terrace isn’t cunning enough to kill one of our favourite characters off-screen, as we already knew, and we already knew that. The Owl House is less macabre and more fanciful. It appears that The Collector has spent the previous few months rebuilding The Boiling Isles in his likeness following the events of King’s Tide, which resulted in Luz and company escaping to the human world. In spite of his propensity for genocide and cosmic superpowers, this tiny gremlin has a killer sense of style. You may watch the entire clip below for yourself.
The Collector Owl House – The demon world is depicted in a significantly more purple way than we’ve seen it before as The Collector flies on a star with King in tow. It’s brief but fascinating, with stars dotting a variety of frames and suggesting that possibly he is gradually transforming the titan’s decaying carcass into a completely new being. There is also his newly built palace, which may have been modified from a place we already know. It has lofty ceilings and ornate furniture that is perfect for a cosmic entity with the ability to fly. A gigantic bad who is both good and evil, which makes him much scary, is defined by satin drapes, lavish statuary, and winding staircases.
HOW TO FIX WORLD OF WARCRAFT NOT RECEIVING TRADER’S TENDER BUG
The Collector Owl House – My favourite aspect of this clip, aside from King’s cute new wardrobe, is the sad authority subversion that Odalia Blight encounters. Amity’s mother, who was once a titan of industry, is now forced to grovel before a toddler in order to survive, giving him ideas on how to improve the Boiling Isles and perhaps free the prisoners. The Collector graciously requests that “Mama Dalia” bring him more pizza bagels, but it doesn’t work. Even though I had no idea pizza or bagels existed in this reality, it’s still useful to know. Odalia’s redemption arc, or at the very least an admission of her errors while she aids the good folks, seems to be in the works.

The Collector Owl House – The Collector suddenly appears with a pile of puppet bodies of characters we recognise and orders them to be carried to a location dubbed “The Collection Room,” which sounds incredibly sinister, not long after we witness him demand more bagels. One of Willow’s fathers and several other supporting players, who have long been used as playthings and improvised bodyguards, can be seen in the pile. I was mistaken when I mentioned that this show wasn’t morbid.

The Collector Owl House – With its upcoming special, The Owl House comes to an end. Since filming is nearing its conclusion, I expect it will air in the upcoming months. What can you do at this point? asked creator Dana Terrace during a panel at New York Comic Con last year. The abrupt cancellation and work needed to cobble together these final few episodes led to the statement, “We did our best. They certainly did, and I’m looking forward to this experience ending on a high note.
