Stephen Dorff News-
Stephen Dorff has more important things to accomplish than work on a Marvel Studios film. or even to watch one they have made.
The realm of comic book movies is not new to Dorff. In the 1998 film Blade, he portrayed Deacon Frost, the antagonist to Wesley Snipes’ vampire hunter.
As long as they “were more like when I started out when we made Blade, or the few that have been decent over the years, like when [Christopher] Nolan did The Dark Knight and reinvented Batman from Tim Burton,” Dorff said in an interview with The Daily Beast, he doesn’t completely rule out making comic book movies.

You know what I mean, “All this other crap is just embarrassing”? stated Dorff, 49. “God bless them, they’re making a tonne of money, but their movies are terrible,” one person said. Nobody will recall them either. By the end of the day, nobody is thinking of Black Adam. I skipped that movie since it seemed so awful. (Ed: Black Adam is a DC film, but it is, in fact, awful.)
Stephen Dorff News- In addition, Dorff couldn’t help but poke fun at the MCU film Blade, which stars Mahershala Ali, Dorff’s True Detective co-star. “How’s that PG Blade film you can’t get a director for going for you? [laughter]” he remarked. “Because we previously did it and made it the best, so anyone who goes there will be made fun of by everyone. There is no such thing as Steve Norrington..

The making of Blade for the MCU hasn’t been easy. Bassam Tariq, the original director, left the project two months before filming was supposed to begin. Yann Demange is granted the reins. Blade’s release date was pushed back from November 2023 to September 2024 as a result of the change of directors at Marvel Studios. However, Ali’s Blade did make his MCU debut via a voice cameo in the Eternals end-credits stinger.
The first Blade, which is rated R, was directed by Norrington, a British director who got his start in special effects. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Norrington’s final picture from 2003, is supposed to have signaled his retirement as a filmmaker. He is currently 59 years old.

Then he remarked, “I’m sure she got paid five, seven million dollars, but I’m embarrassed for her.” “I don’t desire to appear in those films. Actually, I don’t. I’ll look for the young director who will succeed Stanley Kubrick, and I’ll work for him instead.
The sci-fi thriller Divinity, Dorff’s most recent film, had its international premiere on January 21 at the Sundance Film Festival.
