Starting The Blackberry Basket Quest
The process of receiving this quest is fairly straightforward. During the eighth day of Fall, Linus will send you a letter asking you to locate his missing blackberry basket.
This quest has no time limit, so you may take as long as you like. Despite the fact that blackberry season only occurs during the Fall, the basket will remain on the map until you locate it, regardless of the time of year.

Where To Find Linus’ Blackberry Basket
You can find Linus’ blackberry in the Backwoods after receiving the quest. The area to the left of the Bus Stop is located on the map. As you stand by the bus, turn left and you will enter a small area containing the bus tunnel and a few bushes. It is very easy to locate the blackberry basket on the north side of the road.

If you are having difficulty finding the Backwoods, please refer to the map above. You can see it from the path that runs above your farm to Robin’s house, which is relatively close to your farm. As a matter of fact, the area where the basket is located is accessible from the bus stop, not from the path leading to Robin’s house.
Because there is not much to do here, this area of the map often goes unnoticed. Once you have located the basket, you may wish to explore a bit more; you never know what secrets may be hidden inside.

Returning The Blackberry Basket To Linus
To complete the quest, simply give Linus the Blackberry Basket. In the mountains, just past Robin’s house, he is often found near his tent. Unlike other quests offered by people in the town, Linus does not offer a monetary reward. In spite of this, he will grant you one heart of friendship.
Once you have returned his basket, you are finished! This is a fairly straightforward quest, as I mentioned earlier.

Linus has only a few quests, including finding his blackberry basket and completing tasks on the “Help Wanted” board. If you wish to build a friendship with Linus, you should complete the quests on the board as well as giving him items that he will appreciate. Overall, Linus is not very picky; he enjoys all of the universal loves and will gladly accept (most of) your gifts, except for most foraged minerals, most gems, and most universal dislikes.
