Marvel is recognized for mixing dramatic storytelling with comic moments in their video games, films, and television shows. It turns out that the air horn that you may have heard throughout portions of Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ cutscenes wasn’t there for the comic relief that some gamers thought it was.
According to PCGamesN, the Spidey spin-latest off’s patch has now fixed the game’s undesired air horn. At least from the game’s occasions where it shouldn’t have played. A seemingly random air horn sound had been reported by players to interrupt what were frequently intended to be dramatic times in the game, significantly detracting from the atmosphere.
The decision to remove the air horn not universally supported
The decision to remove the air horn is not universally supported. Some gamers express their disappointment at its silencing, saying they truly thought its inclusion was deliberate. Unfortunately for those players, someone no longer blowing a virtual horn will undermine Miles Morales’ attempt to attract players. It’s probably for the best because the narrative that Insomniac is trying to communicate with its Spider-Man games tends to be more serious than humorous.
Not just air horns have been silenced by the patch. The most recent patch from Miles Morales should also resolve a problem where some cutscenes’ audio vanished. Previously silent sequences had an airhorn playing, which made them much more startling and perplexing. A rapid trip animation skip option is also included in the update, and various reflection and shadow effects have been addressed and improved.
Spider-Man fans are anxiously awaiting word on the entire sequel to the first game, even though Miles Morales just just went on sale last month on the PC. Tony Todd, who will play Venom in the upcoming game, seemed to be hinting at further information earlier this week, but nothing materialised. Now, it is hoped that Spider-Man 2 will receive its second trailer at The Game Awards, more than a year after its initial release. There is a Miles Morales mod that transforms New York City into the setting of Into The Spider-Verse if you need something to keep you occupied till then.
