Ouranos Island Guardian Guide: The fifth and most hazardous island in Sonic Frontiers is called Ouranos Island. Guardians are everywhere, frequently in close proximity to significant locations like Stage Portals and Chaos Emerald Vaults. Some could seem familiar to you, while others may be completely unfamiliar, but they all have the potential to kill you if you aren’t careful!
It is advisable to approach every boss on Ouranos Island with as many rings as you can muster in order to ensure that you can take a hit. To succeed, you’ll still need to dodge, parry, and combo. The locations of each Guardian are listed below, along with tips for easily dispatching them.
Caterpillar – Sonic Frontiers: Ouranos Island Guardian Guide
The Guardian will surround themselves with grind rails as Strider did on Ares Island when you get close to Caterpillar. Your objective is to hit the blue orbs and stay away from the red ones.
Jumping, in contrast to regular grind rails, will make Sonic lose all momentum. This implies that as you pass over red orbs, you’ll need to boost in order to destroy them.
One orb will appear to be over the outer ring during the second orb set while in fact it is over the inner ring.
Use Homing Attack on the appearing yellow orbs to get to the remaining blue orb when there are just one orbs left to collect. After finishing that, you’ll go back to the ground to resume the fight.
As it moves throughout the area, Caterpillar will start shooting projectiles at you. If necessary, replenish your rings before using Boost to capture Caterpillar in a Cyloop. The Guardian will be stunned as a result, enabling you to combo kill them.
Kunoichi – Sonic Frontiers: Ouranos Island Guardian Guide
Ninja and Shinobi can’t compete with Kunoichi’s strength and speed. To evade their melee combos, dodge frequently. When an opportunity presents itself, attack. Similar to Shinobi, Kunoichi will deflect your blows; afterward, dodge to move behind the Guardian and continue doing damage.
Set up a parry as soon as Kunoichi leaves. You must be prepared because the Guardian will suddenly appear above you and attack. After Kunoichi launches three of these attacks in quick succession, they will be momentarily stunned if you parry each one.
Use Cyloop right away to deal immediate damage to Kunoichi at the start of the battle. The Guardian will be knocked into the air as a result, allowing you to combo them for at least half their health without interruption.
Master Ninja – Sonic Frontiers: Ouranos Island Guardian Guide
The strategies of all previous Guardians of the same sort have been combined by Master Ninja. Although there is one significant distinction, this combat is largely similar to Kunoichi.
They will return with four identical copies that attack one after the other after Master Ninja vanishes. Then, concentrate on striking the real Guardian after parrying their assaults to remove the illusions. If you find the real Master Ninja before wiping out all the copies, be careful because the replicas will keep attacking until they are vanquished.
Red Pillar – Sonic Frontiers: Ouranos Island Guardian Guide
Similar to Tower and Excavator from earlier islands, Red Pillar is more movable and hostile. Stop your combo if the Guardian is about to attack; spike rings will soon appear, and you don’t want to get hit!
It’s challenging to use Wild Rush effectively against Red Pillar’s relentless missile attacks and laser defenses. Before going after the Guardian’s head, Quick Cyloop is a better choice for quickly taking out body parts.
Silver Hammer – Sonic Frontiers: Ouranos Island Guardian Guide
Similar to a tower in combat, Silver Hammer is more defensive than Red Pillar. The remaining body parts will become covered in spikes once you’ve destroyed enough of their body parts to get to the Guardian’s head.
Silver Hammer will then hover out of sight and start firing lasers. Wait till the Guardian lands before attacking the head.
Ghost – Sonic Frontiers: Ouranos Island Guardian Guide
Ghost won’t interact with you unless you decide to start a fight, unlike the other Guardians. This boss is concealed within a menacing-looking statue and only emerges when you engage with it.
After some time spent drifting around, Ghost will communicate with the statue. Sonic will gradually start to lose rings as long as the two are joined. Destroy the statue with Cyloop to cut the link and harm Ghost in the process.
The ghost will seek refuge at another statue. Before you run out of rings, chase the Guardian and take out each succeeding statue while dodging their gunfire. Watch for purple lines extending toward Sonic as you approach each statue. If you see Ghost approaching you like this, run away by continually pressing the jump button.
Titan Supreme – Sonic Frontiers: Ouranos Island Guardian Guide
Sonic can face Titan Supreme once he has collected every Chaos Emerald. Attacking the boss’s head will cause some damage, but they will quickly swat you away. Even if you manage to block, Supreme will still send you flying out of the arena before you can launch a counterattack.
As soon as you retrieve the sixth Chaos Emerald from the White Emerald Vault, the decisive combat begins. As soon as you do, a cinematic with Eggman carrying the last Emerald appears.
Focus on taking off the laser pods before hitting Supreme directly. Every time you kill one, Supreme will launch a laser bombardment at you; parry it to knock the Titan unconscious so you can move in for a combo.
The laser counters will start to fire in staggered bursts rather than all at once when Supreme is down to around half health. Maintain your previous pattern, but be aware that you’ll need to parry several times to prevent being struck.
Once Supreme’s health is almost completely gone, there will, as is customary in Titan battles, be a series of quick-time events to put an end to them.
The End – Sonic Frontiers: Ouranos Island Guardian Guide
The entity that wiped out the Ancients will eventually be driven into space after Titan Supreme is vanquished. The final conflict with The End is fought in the style of a shoot-em-up similar to the hacking minigames.
As long as you’re firing bullets of the same color, you can deflect shots that land on you. To survive the conflict with The End, you will need this!
The End will suddenly shoot a beam when they are only half-health. Move to the left or right as soon as you hear the loud charging sound and see The End glowing red. If you fly close to the blast’s edge, you can still fire at The End.
When their health is in danger, The End unleashes another explosion. The only thing left to do then is make it through till a quick-time event. Press the attack button when the indicator is in the blue area of the metre as Sage Supreme launches Super Sonic toward The End. To complete the game, repeat this three times!
