Snyder Cut Supporters Turn to #SellSnyderverseToNetflix for Future of DCEU – DC supporters have previously demonstrated that social media can be effective if you use it loudly enough. Those who made it clear by convincing Warner Bros. Discovery to broadcast Zack Snyder’s Justice League to the globe now want the studio to sell Netflix the rights to Snyder’s DCEU.

Will Snyder’s DCEU be sold to Netflix?

The campaign, which revolves around the hashtag #SellSnyderverseToNetflix, was started as a result of the recent total transformation of the DC film industry. It appears that the shake-up will mean the end of a lot of what has gone before, including anything Snyder wanted to achieve, which was very much off the table anyhow. James Gunn and Peter Safran are now in charge of the renamed DCU’s future.
Fans of the Snyder Cut appear to have realised that any optimism that Snyder may be rehired to complete his Justice League story arc has been dashed by the hiring of Gunn and Safran and the gradual disclosure of their plans. As a result, numerous admirers posted the aforementioned hashtag on Twitter. Some people have even made suggestions for what the upcoming projects in the series would resemble if such an arrangement were to materialise.

One fan proposed that Gunn and Safran’s run of DC films, which began with David Ayer’s version of the first Suicide Squad movie, be replaced by a Netflix series set in a different universe. Snyder’s Justice League, parts two and three, would come after that. Of course, it’s unlikely it will ever happen, but hey, when campaigns to release the Synder Cut first gained traction, people argued the exact same thing.

Uncertainty still exists around Gunn and Safran’s exact plans for the revamped DCU. There will be some overlap because films like Shazam 2 and The Flash are still coming out because those plans were made before the new leaders of WBD’s DC vision were chosen. However, Gunn and Safran have already caused controversy by scuttling plans to reintroduce Henry Cavill as Superman soon after his cameo in Black Adam.
