Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Victory Road Pokemon League Walkthrough, How To Beat The Elite Four In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

Victory Road Pokemon League Walkthrough – Victory Road used to be a dungeon and the last obstacle players had to clear before facing off against the Elite Four and the current Champion. The phrase is effectively used by Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, who imply through dialogue snippets that the most recent Victory Road includes all of Paldea’s treks and trails, including each of the game’s eight Gym Leader confrontations.

Victory Road is only one of the three main questlines, therefore it can take you some time to cover all of those miles. But eventually you’ll be prepared to face the Pokemon League. What will this project entail? How should you get ready to deal with their power? All of these and more are covered.

Acing The Interview – How To Beat The Elite Four In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

A ten-question interview has been added to Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, and you must successfully complete it in order to start fighting the Elite Four. It fits well with the school-focused atmosphere of Paldea. Thankfully, it isn’t difficult; rather, it requires greater memorization because the questions that can be marked erroneous mostly ask you to restate information you’ve already given.

Here is a list of all the inquiries Rika will make, along with every acceptable response.

    Elite Four: Rika

    Pokemon Type(s) Level
    Whiscash Water/Ground 57
    Camerupt Fire/Ground 57
    Dugtrio Ground 57
    Donphan Ground 57
Clodsire Poison/Ground (Tera Type: Ground) 58

Pokemon of the Ground type are Rika’s forte. Her Dugtrio and Clodsire, the team’s star, are both pure Ground, while her Whiscash is a Water/Ground hybrid. Terastallization by Clodsire is Ground-type, doubling down on the bargain. These factors make a robust Grass- or Water-type the best option.

POKEMON SCARLET & VIOLET: HOW TO GET DITTO IN POKEMON SCARLET AND VIOLET

Meowscarada ought to fare well if Sprigatito was your first-round pick. Just be cautious near the other two enemies, as Camerupt is Fire/Ground and Donphan is Poison/Ground. Both Pokemon have attacks that can dispatch your Meowscarada quickly (or any replacement in your party, if you chose a different starter).

The quality of Quaqaval is practically identical. For starters, Camerupt is finished. Both Dugtrio and Donphan are equally vulnerable to Water and Grass. However, be aware that Clodsire will completely absorb Water assaults.

If you don’t have Meowscarada or Quaxavel to deal with the majority of Rika’s arsenal, good-enough Pokemon with the Grass or Water typing will do, as will be the case with the rest of our suggestions.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FINISH POKEMON SCARLET & VIOLET?

    Elite Four: Poppy

    Pokemon Type(s) Level
    Copperajah Steel 58
    Corviknight Flying/Steel 58
    Magnezone Electric/Steel 58
    Bronzong Psychic/Steel 58
Tinkaton Fairy/Steel (Tera Type: Steel) 59

Poppy is an expert in steel. But because her party’s secondary typings are more varied than RIka’s, there is a little more challenge. Given the rarity of the Fairy/Steel typing, her Tinkaton might be confusing, but Fire and Ground Pokemon are both strong counters.

Rika pushed Skeledirge to the side, but Poppy’s lineup gives it a chance to shine. Fighting is a viable tactic in addition to Fire-type and Ground-type dominance. Ceruledge or Armarouge, two of Charcadet’s version-exclusive evolutions, are suitable alternatives for Fuecoco for the majority of the battle if you didn’t select him as your starter.

POKEMON SCARLET & VIOLET: HOW TO GET CHARIZARD IN POKEMON SCARLET AND VIOLET

Poppy’s Tinkaton Terastallizes into the same type that she specialises in, same to how Rika’s did before her and, spoilers, how the other Elite Four members did after her (Steel, of course).

    Elite Four: Larry

    Pokemon Type(s) Level
    Tropius Flying/Grass 59
    Altaria Flying/Dragon 59
    Staraptor Flying/Normal 59
    Oricorio Flying/Fire 59
Flamigo Flying/Fighting (Tera Type: Flying) 60

Oh, sweet Larry. In this age, which is full with standouts, Larry is the standout Gym Leader. Our guy is a Flying specialist, and his primary vulnerabilities are Rock and Ice, albeit each is only particularly potent in certain situations.

POKEMON SCARLET & VIOLET: HOW TO GET AND USE TERA SHARDS IN POKEMON SCARLET AND VIOLET

Tropius, Altaria, and Staraptor are all very vulnerable to ice. Rock performs admirably against the same team. Good Water-type attacks can take out Oricorio, and Terastallizing Flamigo makes it vulnerable to Electricity. Anyone who has developed an Electric-type, like as Raichu or Bellibolt, will appreciate that handy benefit.

    Elite Four: Hassel

    Pokemon Type(s) Level
    Noivern Dragon/Flying 60
    Flapple Dragon/Grass 60
    Haxorus Dragon 60
    Dragalge Dragon/Poison 60
Baxcalibur Dragon/Ice (Tera Type: Dragon) 61

A Dragon speciality is something that our amazing art teacher skillfully employs, as is typical with Elite Four bosses. Again, Ice is wonderful in this situation because Noivern, Flapple, and Haxorus are all quite vulnerable to it. Remember that Dragon-types are vulnerable to Fairy-types, therefore Sylveon, Tinkaton, and other competent individuals are smart choices.

POKEMON SCARLET & VIOLET: VICTORY ROAD GLASEADO MOUNT WALKTHROUGH, HOW TO BEAT GLASEADO GYM IN POKEMON SCARLET AND VIOLET

Battling dragon with dragon, or fighting fire with fire, is an option if Dragalge is bothering you. After all, dragon-types are vulnerable to other dragon-types. If you think you can handle the potential hassle, it might even be entertaining to compete against Hassel with your own Baxcalibur. However, take that more as an exclamation of amusement than as a recommendation.

    Top Champion: Geeta

    Pokemon Type(s) Level
    Espartha Psychic 61
    Kingambit Dark/Steel 61
    Avalugg Ice 61
    Gogoat Grass 61
    Veluza Water/Psychic 61
Glimmora Rock/Poison (Tera Type: Rock) 62

Geeta’s squad is more varied than any Elite Four member’s, as befits any Champion (or in the case of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, “Top Champion”). As a result, unless you like an uphill battle, you can’t just count on switching out in favour of a choice one or two varieties.

POKEMON SCARLET & VIOLET: VICTORY ROAD ALFORNADA TOWN WALKTHROUGH, HOW TO BEAT ALFORNADA GYM

However, you have plenty of options to use against her. Espartha has a lot of options because of his weaknesses to Ghost, Bug, and Dark. Avalugg is extremely vulnerable to Fire, Rock, and Steel. Avalugg, Gogoat, and Kimgambit can all be easily defeated by a Fire-type like Skeledirge; however, the latter is also vulnerable to Fighting and Ground attacks.

The case of Veluza is intriguing. Owners of Meowscarada are suddenly relevant once more because Grass/Dark performs flawlessly better than Water/Psychic. However, there are a tonne of more choices, including Bellibolt, Jolteon, and Kilowattrel for Electrics. Not to mention, Glimmora has a powerful punch, especially after being Terrastalized. Time to play for Quaquaval or any Water-type is now (or Meowscarada and Grass-types again, but beware of the Poison attacks). Here, Steel and Ground are also beneficial.

    The Return To Mesagoza

If you’ve heard this one before, please stop us: You are ambushed by Nemona, who demands a fight. But this time, it’s critical. The Top Champion is you. Saying that you surpassed her expectations would be an understatement.

It’s swiftly decided that Mesagoza Central Plaza will be the site of the Victory Road storyline’s last fight. Now is not the time to unwind because Nemona’s complete team is more resilient than you might think. Although they are primarily monotype, they still have a fantastic type spread that will keep you on your toes. Their levels are all a little higher than anything you have faced before.

Use this chance to get better and buy any necessary restoratives.

The first thing you should take note of is that, despite the fact that Nemona initially selected the starter that yours is strong against, the secondary typing of her chosen Pokemon flips the script. Quaquaval is completely vulnerable to Grass attacks if you chose Meowscarada, but it can also launch Fighting attacks that Meowscarada is likewise equally vulnerable to. I could go on forever.

It is also not a certain that you will encounter Nemona’s final Pokemon with your starter. You can do it, and it might work out okay — aside from obviously bad situations like being significantly overleveled — since the outcome of the battles will then probably only depend on your speed stat.

POKEMON SCARLET & VIOLET: HOW TO GET KORAIDON AND MIRAIDON IN POKEMON SCARLET AND VIOLET

Meowscarada is vulnerable to Bug on two different levels. We are aware that Bug-types frequently have a bad reputation in Pokemon games, but Volcarona and Lokix are two extremely good examples in Scarlet & Violet. Skeledirge doesn’t have a double vulnerability, yet its super potent attacks include Ground, Rock, Ghost, Water, and Dark. Additionally lacking a double weakness, Quaquaval has no issues with Flying, Grass, Electric, Psychic, or Fairy.

Only Pawmot has two types, leaving the other four members of Nemona’s team to be very obvious: choose a Pokemon that is effective against each specific type. Pawmot, Ground, Psychic, and Fairy are included.

The Victory Road questline is eventually completed with Nemona’s destruction. Congratulations!
