Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Victory Road Glaseado Mount Walkthrough, How To Beat Glaseado Gym In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

How To Beat Glaseado Gym – Maybe the last gym you’ll find is Glaseado Gym. Perhaps it isn’t. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet was created to give us the freedom to roam where we like and be who we are. Okay, you’ve definitely seen the advertisements, so we won’t go into detail. The idea is that, based on level, Grusha is the toughest Gym Leader, thus we advise saving him for last.

If you succeed, you’ll probably require less assistance. Nevertheless, we hope that this advice will be useful to you. And if, for some reason, you’re determined to pursue Grusha earlier, our advice on how to get there and what to expect should be helpful.

It’s hilarious that one of the quickest paths to Glaseado Mount will get you there a few seconds before you might reach Montenevera Town. Ryme, the gym leader of Montenevera, is actually the sixth opponent on Scarlet & Violet’s levelling curve. Ryme can be reached in other ways, but Grusha can also be reached in other ways. We simply believe that this is the simplest.

Go east from Medali Town. If you’re looking at a map and are unsure of its location, zoom in on the West Province. You should definitely see Medali close to Area Three.

You intend to reach Dalipaza Passage. The eastern track leaving Medali is this one. The mountain ahead rises upward to your left as you near the end of Dalipaza. Follow its course up the mountain as you climb this.

Particularly if this is your first trip to the northernmost reaches of West Province, there are a few trainers and a few Pokemon species you might not have encountered before to battle along the road.

You’ll be out in the cold after Dalipaza Passage and eager for a hot lunch. Everywhere but here at Glaseado Mount, which you may find towering above a Pokemon Center up the neighbouring slopes, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has plenty of food. Prepare for meeting Grusha by eating a berry or anything.

Glaseado Mount Gym Test – Victory Road Glaseado Mount Walkthrough

Fans of Final Fantasy 7 will remember the time the game abruptly demanded that we snowboard down a mountain slope, to paraphrase an entirely different JRPG series. Since you should be expecting some strange Gym Tests at this point in your Pokemon Scarlet & Violet trip, it was more abrupt than it is now, at least. It’s still a little shocking.

POKEMON SCARLET & VIOLET: HOW TO BEAT LEVINCIA GYM, VICTORY ROAD LEVINCIA CITY WALKTHROUGH

We get to do this in style because we are Pokemon trainers, unlike Cloud Strife who had a snowboard. For the Glaseado Horse Gym Test, you’ll be riding your mount, which, whether intentionally or not, gives the situation a double meaning. The controls can be a little confusing at first, but the goal-achieving time constraint of 90 seconds is fairly forgiving.

In support of that assertion, we’ll point out that we deliberately avoided the rainbow-colored lights between each sign, which are the places you’re supposed to go instead. Even though the game intentionally slows down on occasion (sorry, we had to), this significantly slowed us down, and despite this, we were still about 40 seconds early.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FINISH POKEMON SCARLET & VIOLET?

However, not everyone finds life to be simple, so while we had no problems at all here, your experience may be different. You receive unlimited tries for this Gym Challenge, which is wonderful news. You will gradually develop a feel for the ice.

Glaseado Mount Gym Leader: Grusha – How To Beat Glaseado Gym In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

In the history of Pokemon, the ice type has long been divisive. Although calling it “contentious” might be stretching it, it does have a distinct identity being the kind that many players wish to use to attack without really having an Ice-type Pokemon to do it.

This is for good reason. Ice is the least resistant of all 18 categories since it only resists itself. Furthermore, some of the strongest moves in the series can destroy it due to its vulnerability to Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel. On the other hand, Ice is twice as effective against Pokemon of the Dragon, Ground, Flying, and Grass types. Have someone with Ice Beam on your squad is a catchphrase that is frequently used in reference to the first two.

POKEMON SCARLET & VIOLET: VICTORY ROAD ALFORNADA TOWN WALKTHROUGH, HOW TO BEAT ALFORNADA GYM

This preamble has a single purpose: Grusha’s Ice Pokemon can be hit incredibly hard, but you can hit them back just as hard. If you match his level in this fast-paced bout, you could lose at least one knockout. All four of Grusha’s Pokemon share the trait of not being particularly swift, though. Let’s take advantage of that.

    Pokemon Level Type
    Frosmoth 47 Bug/Ice
    Beartic 47 Ice
    Cetitan 47 Ice
Altaria 48 Dragon/Flying (Tera Type Ice)

Skeledirge is equally slow but is a good alternative to Frosmoth and Altaria. The same holds true if you didn’t select Fuecoco as your starter and instead picked Ceruledge, Armarouge, or Arcanine. Since Beartic has Earthquake and Cetitan has Liquidation, you should be cautious around them since neither Frosmoth nor Altaria (even Terastallized) are particularly effective against Fire-types.

Altaria, whose Flying side and Moonblast Fairy attack can be deadly, just needs to be pulled back against a strong Fighting-type companion like Annihilape. If trained to a high enough degree, Tinkaton, with its dual Steel/Fairy typing (Ice is vulnerable to Steel as well! ), has the power to completely defeat Grusha.
