How To Beat Alfornada Gym – The person who claimed Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is only appropriate for children hasn’t yet arrived in Alfornada Town. Here, the Gym Test entails determining one’s mental health. Children might find that to be a humorous idea. It’s just too true for adults.
One of the more challenging battles in Scarlet & Violet’s Victory Road tale is against Tulip, the deceptively Grass-sounding gym leader of Alfornada. Alfornada’s location on the map makes things more difficult to get to, which further complicates problems. We’ll make sure you arrive on time, think about the wide range of emotional demands, but not really, and then we’ll make sure you earn that badge.

How To Get To Alfornada Town – Victory Road Alfornada Town Walkthrough, How To Beat Alfornada Gym
There are various approaches to this. The difference between them is solely in how simple it is to go to Alfornada. If Koraidon/Miraidon’s climb ability is unlocked, you can simply climb over the mountains to get to Alfornada in a short amount of time. The problem is that in order to unlock Climb, you must defeat the most challenging opponent in the Path of Legends story, a Level 56 Pokemon that has been appropriately strengthened.
The two Pokemon with the highest levels in Tulip are currently tied for first place at Level 45. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet gives players the freedom to complete the game’s main content in any order they choose, but there is a generally accepted recommendation, and this isn’t it. However, there will inevitably be one player who possesses the climb ability for every several other players. Go scale those large rocks if that describes you.

Start by leaving Cortondo through its south produce patches for the rest of us. Just past those produce patches, cross the river by pressing “+” while mounted. Cortondo and Alfornada are not particularly far apart, but the fastest and safest way to get there without devoting a lot of time to your trip is to locate the cave entrance immediately to the south of the lower side of the river after you have jumped.
You must have already defeated one of the Path of Legends Titan Pokemon, probably Klawf, because Koraidon/Miraidon must jump a certain distance to start your journey to Alfornada. However, keep in mind that if Klawf’s level represents your own team’s average, you aren’t yet prepared for Tulip.
You will see a cliff when you emerge from the cave on the other side. Drop down, veering southward across the bridge and straight through the relatively long cavern to Alfornado Town.

Alfornada Town Gym Test – Victory Road Alfornada Town Walkthrough, How To Beat Alfornada Gym
Alfornada’s Gym Test is easy by comparison to getting here without climbing. Or perhaps a scenario where people just stand around in a vaguely park-like setting. Once you’ve registered, start by chatting with Dendra (!) at the nearby court. The face buttons on your controller correspond to the “emotions” she asks you to show. This is even simpler than Levincia’s spot-the-Clavell fare because of the ample time and the generous pace.
Trainers will be fought between rounds. If you have trouble with either of them, especially the Medicham in the second one, you might want to train harder before the competition.

Flowers are delicate. Tulip isn’t one. If your Pokemon aren’t at least accessible in level, this will be an extremely challenging battle. If so, what? Great. It will largely be the same as all the others, with the exception that Tulip is generally more capable, has an above-average moveset, and has no lineup members who are actually weak spots.

A variety of Pokemon, including Sableye and Banette, two Ghost-type Pokemon, are present in the tunnel on the way to Alfornada and are appropriate for combat against Tulip. Quaquaval is the only one of the three Paldean starter Pokemon that won’t be much help in this situation; Skeledirge with the Fire/Ghost setup and Meowscarada with the Water/Dark setup are both excellent.

Beware of Florges’ potent Moonblast when it terastallizes. Now is the time to call Meowscarada back, along with any other potential Dark-type you have been using in its place, if you had it out against the rest of the group (even Gardevoir’s Dazzling Gleam shouldn’t one-hit KO it if you are equal in level).
If you have Skeledirge, keep it in play; if not, Armarouge for Scarlet owners, or any Steel-type to take the hits. Or even Sableye and Banette, who were mentioned before!
