As was already mentioned, Marks are unique insignia that are attached to a Pokemon upon capture or with the fulfilment of certain requirements. Pokemon having many Marks can have one of them chosen to be the Title that is displayed when the Pokemon is put into combat. Each Mark has a Title that is also applied to the Pokemon.
How To View And Set Marks
It won’t be obvious when you catch a Pokemon with a Mark. Look at the third section of the Pokemon’s description to see which Pokemon have a Mark. A Pokemon with a Mark will have the words Title Conferred at the bottom of the screen when you are viewing the Pokemon in your boxes.
