The possibility to catch one’s very own Charizard awaits players who have acquired the game at this early stage.
But it’s not as simple as it seems. Before you can take advantage of this chance, there are a few things you must first complete. We’ll go through step-by-step instructions on how to catch Charizard in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

How To Get Charizard In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
This is your chance to catch Charizard before it appears in the Paldea region. It is unknown if there will be another opportunity to obtain this Pokemon in the game’s future. In order to be safe, it is preferable to give it a try this time. As part of a two-part event, Charizard will appear in black crystal Tera Raid battles.
The event will take place starting on December 1, 2022, at 4 PM, and running through Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 3:59 PM PST. It will then take place again starting on December 15, 2022, at 4 PM, and running through Sunday, December 18, 2022, at 3:59 PM PST. The black Raid Battle crystal can only be interacted with by players who have completed the game. To catch Charizard, players who haven’t completed the game must team up with other trainers using Link Code multiplayer.

If you managed to capture Charizard during the first phase of the event, you won’t be able to do it again even if you give it another two weeks. Per save file, players are only eligible for one of these unique Charizard. This Charizard is of the Dragon Tera type, which many consider to be the ideal type for this Pokemon.
The toughest Tera Raid Battles can be found in black crystals. So make sure to train your Pokemon wisely, provide them with essential supplies, and team up with powerful allies before attempting this battle. Once you’ve captured it, you can breed it to produce as many Charmander as you’d like to claim as your own.
