How To Get Armarouge And Ceruledge: One of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s most notable new creatures has to be Charcadet. The kind of spunk-meets-style that characterises many former greats can be seen in this fiery little chap. Consequently, Armarouge and Ceruledge, Charcadet’s evolutions, are either just as well-liked or much more so. (That pun wasn’t intentional.)
How is Charcadet supposed to evolve into either of its eye-catching forms? Our burnt-charcoal bud, which continues Game Freak’s habit of including a few unusual evolution criteria per generation, encourages players to proceed in an unusual manner in order to succeed. Look into it.

Because Armarouge and Ceruledge are version-specific exclusives, Charcadet can only develop into them in Scarlet and Violet, respectively. The answer in this case, as with all of Pokemon’s version-locked species, is to trade (locally or online) for the one you can’t get. Or, of course, you could just buy both games.
Where To Find Charcadet In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Sorry to anyone who already has a Charcadet and just wants to evolve them as soon as possible, but feel free to skip ahead; this will probably be useful to a few readers. Charcadet can be found all across Paldea in various places. On the other hand, it’s quite uncommon everywhere.
We can confirm that Charcadet appears in the following places based on player map-sleuthing:
- All three sections of the West Province
- The third, fourth, and fifth sections of the South Province
- The first and second sections of East Province
- Asado Desert
- Tagtree Thicket
In addition to the aforementioned, Charcadet is a potential Tera Raid participant. In essence, despite having a vast habitat and a low spawn rate, you’ll almost certainly run into one at some point in the game. However, you might have to go out of your way to find more than a few of them. whenever you can, get one!

At least one more than any other zone, we discovered two Charcadets in South Province (Area Three). We are unsure if this indicates they occur more frequently here, but if you’re stuck, it’s worth a try.
How To Evolve Charcadet Into Armarouge Or Ceruledge In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
In Zapapico Town, a certain someone is craving ten Bronzor Fragments or an equal number of Sinistea Chips. It’s a middle-aged man in Pokemon Scarlet, and a woman about the same age in Pokemon Violet. Regardless, they’ll have an orange text bubble over their head and be standing in front of a small fountain.
The Bronzor Fragments in Pokemon Scarlet will be exchanged for Auspicious Armor. The Sinistea Chips in Pokemon Violet will get you Malicious Armor.

Now, where can I find Sinistea chips or Bronzor fragments? Each variant is different, although none is particularly challenging.
Bronzor Fragments In Pokemon Scarlet
You must travel to the Asado Desert in Scarlet, especially the northern sections. On the Paldea map, the desert is quite clear, but just in case you get confused, it’s south of Porto Marinado and just near to Cascaraffa Town.
There are numerous, huge ruins here that are impossible to miss. You’ll need to farm up to ten Bronzors in this area; frequently, they’ll only drop one Bronzor Fragment, but occasionally you’ll be lucky and obtain two.

Sinistea Chips In Pokemon Violet
Travel south of Alfornada Town in search of Violet. Sinistea can be found elsewhere, but here below Alfornada, they’re at a noticeably modest level, so you can just send your Pokemon out and let them do their thing. Bronzor can probably be found in places other than the one we’ve listed, but we know those ruins are a fair chance.
Repeating the procedure of gathering Sinistea Chips or Bronzor Fragments in their respective variants is conceivable. This is probably Game Freak politely allowing fans to provide pals with different versions the thing needed for their Charcadet’s evolution that would otherwise be missing.

Give the appropriate quantity of each item to the NPC in Zapapico in exchange for your key item. Instead of having Charcadet hold the armour, use it on Charcadet from the inventory menu. Once you’ve completed this, you’ll have an Armarouge or Ceruledge that you can be proud of. Congrats!
