Availability And Perks

On 4/15, when Ryuji and Joker return to Kamoshida’s palace, Ann discreetly follows them and ultimately awakens her ego. As a result, Ann’s confidant in Persona 5 Royal also starts on April 15.

Most days, Ann is in the Shibuya Underground Mall. On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday after school, Ann is available to hang out with. She will also be present at the mall on Sunday during the day and any time it rains.

In Persona 5 Royal, Ann’s Confidant ranking will level up as your relationship with her deepens. Having a Persona in Joker’s party that belongs to the same arcana as the person you’re hanging out with will consistently raise his points gained by one point for each response, just like with the rest of your confidants.

You’ll also get bonus points for doing well on your schoolwork. Affinity points are multiplied by 1.5 when you place first in your class; however, if you place in the top ten, the multiplier is reduced to 1.2. Use your spare time wisely after passing exams because these stack with the benefit for having a corresponding Persona.

Ann will occasionally text Joker to invite him to hang out with her outside of your confidant ranking advancement. Even though Ann cannot be ranked higher as a result of the additional hangouts, you will still gain favour with her during them. You receive 1.2x the affinity points for responding to her texts right away, and all of the benefits mentioned above continue to be valid.

Studying At The Shibuya Diner

You can study with Ann in the Shibuya Diner on a few occasions. If you don’t have a Lovers Persona on you for either response, you will gain one additional point toward Ann’s confidant rank each time you do so. If you actually have a Lovers Persona on you, either response will give you a +2 boost.

Regardless of whether you have a Persona with the same arcana, this will raise Ann’s rank and boost your Knowledge stat by +3 each time.
