Pancham Pokemon Go: To evolve Pokemon in Pokemon GO, you had to collect candies from corresponding Pokemon types. As new generations of Pokemon were released and more mechanics were added to the game, evolution tactics began to diversify.
With the introduction of the buddy system, a new method of evolution emerged, which was applicable only to certain pokemon. Among these are the adorably feisty Pancham and its considerably more terrifying evolution, the Pangoro.
Here is everything you need to know about evolving Pancham Pokemon Go into Pangoro.
Make Pancham Your Buddy, Then Catch 32 Dark-Type Pokemon In Pokemon Go
Pancham are Fighting-type Pokemon, but Pangoro is a dual Fighting/Dark type Pokémon after evolution. It is necessary for trainers to catch 32 Dark-type Pokemon while walking Pancham as part of the evolution process in order for Pangoro to manifest its dark side.
As dark-type Pokémon stick to fairly specific habitats, they haven’t been abundant in Pokemon GO, but you will likely have the most success hunting at night or when it is foggy. In the Luminous Legends event, Dark-type spawns were marginally increased following the arrival of Pancham Pokemon Go and Pangoro. As a reward for field research encounters, some Dark-type Pokemon may occasionally appear in raids, such as Galarian Zigzagoon.
Another way to catch Dark-type Pokemon is to catch Shadow Pokemon from Rocket Grunts in Team GO. It is important to pay attention to the Grunt’s catchphrase in order to determine whether the Shadow pokemon is a Dark-type or not. It is likely that they will be using a Dark-type Pokemon if they introduce the battle with “Where there is light, there is also shadow.”.
Watch out for the Fire-type grunts as well, since they sometimes have Houndours that you can catch. ‘Do you know how hot Pokemon fire breath can get?’ is their catchphrase.
Pancham Candy In Pokemon Go
Since Pokemon GO’s humble beginnings, candies have evolved into a powerful mechanic. Previously, you only needed candies to evolve a Pokemon, but now there are often additional requirements, as well as a variety of new ways to obtain candies.
Upon joining you on the requisite Dark-type hunting adventures, Pancham requires 50 Pancham candies in order to evolve.
Pancham candies can be earned in a number of ways, including:
- Hatching Pancham
- Walking with a Pancham buddy
- Using Rare Candies
- Trading or transferring extra Pancham Pokemon Go
Pancham can now be hatched from Strange Eggs as well. Unlike other Eggs, you will not be able to obtain these from spinning Pokestops. It is only possible to obtain Strange Eggs by defeating Giovanni’s lieutenants, Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra.
