Overwatch 2 mini-update patch buffs Junker Queen, Zarya, Brigitte, and Moira – Before a major patch that will be released later in January, Overwatch 2 has received a minor update that includes enhancements for a number of heroes. To the dismay of everyone tearing out their hair over players using Moira as a DPS, Junker Queen, Zarya, Brigitte, and Moira have all been given various buffs.
Given that her skills have received numerous improvements, Junker Queen is the Hero who appears to be receiving the majority of the patch’s attention. For instance, anytime an enemy dies with wounds, Adrenaline Rush will now heal for the leftover wound damage. Jagged Blade’s thrown impact has been lowered from 80 to 50 damage, but direct impacts now add a 30 damage wound that can stack. Carnage’s cooldown has now been shortened by 2 seconds for each opponent the ability impacts.

While Zarya’s energy degradation has been lowered from 2.2 to 2 per second and the delay after energy has been obtained has been raised from 1 to 2 seconds, the remainder of the changes are much minimal. While Moira will now replenish a small amount of Biotic Energy while damaging opponents with a Biotic Orb, Brigitte receives a very minor benefit to her health, which has been raised from 250 to 300.

In case you’re wondering where the promised Roadhog nerf went after seeing these adjustments, Overwatch 2 director Aaron Keller has already said that his “gentle rework” will be released later in “mid to late January.” You’ll simply have to cross your fingers and endure some more suffering if there are any more Heroes you feel could use a little buffing or nerfing.
