Netflix Tudum 2022 List: Here are the most important news and trailers from Netflix’s Tudum event

Netflix Tudum 2022 List: Once again, Netflix held a livestreamed event called Tudum to introduce some of its most anticipated movies, TV shows, and games. (Though the names are the same, this Tudum has nothing to do with the struggling fansite also managed by Netflix.) I am still waiting to hear or see something about season 2 of Arcane, but plenty of big names were also present in the 2022 edition. There are news about two Witcher shows, trailers for Enola Holmes and Knives Out, and the surprise launch of an excellent indie game.

Here are the most important revelations from the show if you missed it.

Enola Holmes 2 has a new trailer

Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill reprise their roles as the Holmes siblings, only this time Enola is a detective in her own right. On November 4th, the new movie will be available for streaming.

A first look at spy thriller Heart of Stone

In Heart of Stone, Gal Gadot stars along with Jamie Dornan and Alia Bhatt in another action thriller for Netflix. Gadot describes the film as a “super grounded, raw action thriller.” It is scheduled to release on Netflix in 2023.

Queen Charlotte stars in a Bridgerton spinoff

Due to Bridgerton’s massive success, it is no surprise that Netflix is expanding it with a spin-off series. The streamer showcased a clip of the first such project, Queen Charlotte, at Tudum.

Here’s a thing with Thing in Wednesday

We have already seen a few trailers for Wednesday, Tim Burton’s Addams Family spinoff starring Jenna Ortega. However, the newest clip highlights something extremely important: Thing, the sentient hand. Netflix will begin streaming the series on November 23rd.

A behind-the-scenes look at Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio

From the early trailers, we knew del Toro’s Pinocchio – not to be confused with the live-action Disney version – would be beautiful. Netflix’s latest clip, however, provides a brief glimpse into how the stop-motion world was created. On December 9th, the movie will be available for streaming.

Jennifer Lopez is an assassin in The Mother

There is not much else to say about The Mother except that Jennifer Lopez looks incredibly cool as an assassin who comes out of hiding to save a daughter that she was forced to leave behind. By itself, that premise is enough to entice me to watch the movie when it begins streaming in May 2023.

The Witcher: Blood Origin is coming in December

The Witcher: Blood Origin, a prequel series starring Michelle Yeoh, did not reveal any new information. However, we learned something important: the show will be available on Netflix in December. Meanwhile, you can view the first trailer by clicking here.

They Cloned Tyrone looks like a lot of fun

Jamie Foxx follows up Day Shift with what appears to be another mixture of genre action and comedy. Foxx teams up with John Boyega and Teyonah Parris in They Cloned Tyrone, as they follow “the trail of a nefarious government experiment.” It is scheduled for release in the near future.

Henry Cavill in season 2 of The Witcher.

Season 3 of The Witcher is coming in summer 2023

The third season of The Witcher was not shown to us, much like Blood Origin. Season 3 is expected to premiere next summer, according to Netflix.

Oxenfree is out now on Netflix games

With the launch of Oxenfree, Netflix’s gaming push continues today. Oxenfree is a supernatural mystery game that first launched in 2016. Netflix launched Oxenfree not long after the streaming service acquired Night School Studio, the developer of Oxenfree.

Another look at Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

It will still be some time before Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery premieres in December, but at least we have this new clip to make the wait a bit more bearable. There are some particularly devious-looking puzzle boxes in this one, as well as a star-studded cast.

The School for Good and Evil continues to look good… and evil

There is no doubt that Netflix’s live-action adaptation of The School for Good and Evil continues to impress, and the latest clip features Billie Eilish to set a dark mood. It is directed by Paul Feig and is scheduled to be released on Netflix on October 19.

Hellbound is coming back for season 2

There was a very brief – yet appropriately dark and gory – teaser released by Netflix confirming that Hellbound will return for a second season. Considering how season 1 ended, it is not a great surprise, but there is no indication as to when it will be available for streaming.

A high-octane clip of Money Heist: Korea’s second part

It was not a complete show when Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area debuted earlier this year – but now we get a glimpse of the upcoming part 2. While Netflix has not yet announced a release date, the new episodes will be available in the near future.

A very brief unreleased clip from Squid Game

Hwang Dong-Hyuk, the director of Squid Game, stopped by Tudum to share a brief, previously unreleased clip from the debut season. Season 2 will feature all-new stories, according to the director.

Hope you liked our Netflix Tudum 2022 List.
