Miquella Elden Ring : While Elden Ring may have launched more than six months ago, it appears that there is still a lot to discover in The Lands Between even without DLC. Nevertheless, some of that stuff was never intended to be discovered, such as this Miquella glitch that makes the Empyrean awkwardly emerge from his cocoon and just stand there.
It was discovered by LoneWolf4247, who shared it on Reddit (thanks, GameRant). According to the screenshot they shared, as they engage Mohg, the Lord of Blood who kidnapped Miquella Elden Ring, the previously encased character is standing upright watching the action unfold. It was more like staring blankly into the middle distance than watching.
LoneWolf4247 has stumbled upon a glitch and not some cool new feature. Miquella is actually supposed to remain hidden in his cocoon throughout Elden Ring’s story. As a means of aging, Miquella Elden Ring has locked himself within that self-constructed prison. He and Malenia, a character that many players will be familiar with, have both been cursed with the ability to remain young forever. It appears to be a good idea on the surface, but Miquella appears to be tired of it.
According to some Elden Ring players who have seen the post above, Miquella will play a greater role in the story if the game ever receives story DLC. Despite the fact that most of Miquella Elden Ring story in the base game is for the benefit of Mohg and Malenia, it would seem to be a waste if she did not burst from her cocoon and attack players at some point in the game. It appears that he would make a formidable boss.
It just goes to show what a deep and robust game Elden Ring is that things like this and even things that aren’t glitches are still being discovered so many months after launch. Recently, a YouTuber discussed why some enemies appear to act so fast, as if they are reading input. The good news is that it is not. In addition to altering The Lands Between, modders have unofficially added Mario and Luigi to the game.
