Lure Modules Pokemon Go: You may consider using a Lure Module if you are playing Pokemon GO and you have a PokeStop nearby, but you are not seeing as many Pokemon spawns as you would like. If placed on a PokeStop, they will attract Pokemon for a full 30 minutes, and sometimes even longer during special events.
There are five Lure Modules: the standard one and four Special Lure Modules. Below is a list of each of the Pokemon it will attract, as well as their other uses – namely, their ability to evolve certain Pokemon.

Pokemon GO is constantly changing due to its nature. The Rainy Lure was added to the game some time ago, for example. In order to ensure that this article contains the most current information available, we have reviewed it.
What Lure Modules Are & How To Get Them | Lure Modules Pokemon Go

Pokemon are literally lured to your location by lure modules. Pokestops use them to attract Pokemon, and they last for thirty minutes. The Lure you place can also be used by other players – the Pokemon appear for everyone, unlike an Incense.
Regular Lures are intended to attract any Pokemon in the vicinity, while Special Lures are intended to attract specific Pokemon. It is true that they are tied to types, but they do not just attract Pokemon of that type.

If you place a standard Lure Module, 10 Pokemon will spawn over the course of 30 minutes (under normal circumstances). Special Lure Modules that attract specific types of Pokemon will attract 20 Pokemon within 30 minutes. Nonetheless, only 10 of those 20 will be special spawns. As for the other ten Pokemon, these will be the normal Pokemon in the area, similar to a regular lure module.
Pokecoins can be used to purchase all types of Lure Modules from the shop. When you reach certain levels, you will also be able to obtain standard lure modules. Furthermore, Lure Modules may also be awarded for completing Research Tasks.

Standard Lure Module In Pokemon Go
It is the Lure Module that has been in the game since its inception. The concept is fairly straightforward: it will attract Pokemon from the surrounding area. There is no particular Pokemon that is attracted to it.
The lure is most useful if you wish to catch a large number of the regular spawns around the area, but do not wish to walk around (or cannot, for some reason).
