How To Unlock 6-Star Raids In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet – The long-awaited Pokemon Scarlet & Violet features a brand-new gameplay mechanic called Terastallization, a crystalline phenomena that gives your chosen pokemon an extra boost in combat and a single Tera Type. However, even though it can be useful, you might come across enemy Pokemon that have learned to use its skill.
In the new multiplayer mode called Tera Raids, you can encounter wild Pokemon that can employ Terastallization in battle. Together with three additional pals and their chosen Pokemon, you can earn benefits.
What Are Tera Raids?
Tera Raids are 4v1 battles in which four trainers and their Pokémon must use their skills and a few unique mechanics to beat the Raid Boss, a strong Terastallized Pokémon, before the timer expires. For this battle, you can only use one Pokemon, and no matter how many times it faints, it will automatically recover after three seconds.
The Raid Boss will have unique dynamics of his own, though, and if the timer expires, he will eliminate the entire team in a single move. But if you triumph over it, you’ll get lots of gifts and a chance to catch the raid boss pokemon.
You can either find one of the Tera Raid Dens strewn throughout Paldea’s geography, or you can join another player’s raid via the Poke Portal menu, where raids of various difficulties can be found.

Combat Mechanics
Trainers of Pokemon may issue the following commands up to three times each battle throughout the fight:
- Go all out! – A buff to the other pokemon’s Attack damage.
- Hang tough! – A buff to the other pokemon’s defenses.
- Heal up! – Heals the Pokemon HP and removes any Status Condition.

Similar to this, high-level raid bosses have access to up to six different commands, each of which has a unique effect:
- a strong shield that will completely stop status moves and lessen incoming damage. It does, however, increase Terastallized Pokemon damage.
- The Raid Boss gets an extra move each turn.
- Totally remove all debuffs from the raid boss.
- a total elimination of the players’ pokemon’s abilities and stat boost.

How to get access to 6 Star Tera raids?
The post-game tournament must be won by players in order to access 6-star Tera Raids. Then Jacq would call and ask them to participate in several 5-star raids.
What level are 5 star raids?
