However, it appears that we shall learn the answer this year, as Steamforged Games has declared that Gears of War: The Card Game will launch this year. Unfortunately, no additional information has been given, so we’ll just go ahead and list the things we’d want to see. We are able to create our own characters, objects, and even scenarios because it is a card game rather than a board game.

While we wait for Gears of War: The Card Game, a Netflix movie is the next version of the IP. We don’t know any specifics, and no casting or production-related decisions have been made; all we know is that Netflix will be collaborating with The Coalition on the film. Despite the fact that no casting decisions have been finalised, Gears 5 guest star Dave Bautista has made it known that he would like to play Macrus Fenix in the film.
