Marcus Fenix, a former soldier who is currently serving time in prison for saving his father, is leading the troops to safety.

The new season was announced in early November, thus the show is presumably still in its early phases of creation. The series scripts are still being written, and the casting for the show has not yet started. The expected filming dates are early or mid-year in 2019. If production starts early in 2019, the series should premiere in 2023. If the show debuts in the middle or latter part of the following year, there is a good chance it will do so in 2024.
