Gamers Rejoice: GeForce Now Coming to Hyundai, BYD, and Polestar Cars!

Now that the year 2023 has arrived, the globe is preparing to unveil all the fascinating new technology that businesses have been working on. Nvidia is touting a new (well, really an old) service that will soon be available to some auto makers even though CES doesn’t start until January 5.

Nvidia Confirms GeForce Now Game Streaming is Coming to A Bunch of Cars, Gamers Rejoice: GeForce Now Coming to Hyundai, BYD, and Polestar Cars!

Soon, a car near you will provide GeForce Now, Nvidia’s cloud streaming service. Hyundai Motor Group, BYD Automobiles, and Polestar, a Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer, will soon be able to access GeForce Now through their in-vehicle screens, the video card manufacturer announced in a news statement.

Stella Li, vice president of BYD and CEO of BYD America, said, “We are delighted to offer our consumers the finest in technology, comfort, design from BYD and now the latest in gaming through Nvidia GeForce Now high-performance cloud gaming service.” Driving in our cars is getting more and more complex, fun, and environmentally friendly.

THE WITCHER SEASON 3 CHANGES: MAJOR CHANGE WILL LEAVE FANS BEGGING FOR MORE!

More than 1,500 games are available on GeForce Now, more than 1,000 of which support controllers, including A Plague Tale: Requiem, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, Lost Ark, and Destiny 2. The only video games playable on screens in these cars would be those that support controllers, and they would only be accessible from the back seats or while the car is not in motion.

But one day, that might alter. The Nvidia Drive ecosystem, which develops software for vehicles, including autonomous driving software, already includes BYD, Polestar, and Hyundai. The interior will differentiate brand identities considerably more as autonomous driving technology spreads, according to Nvidia. When choosing a vehicle, consumers will place a greater emphasis on features like streaming video, stunning graphic displays, and digital assistants.

When GeForce Now will be accessible in your Elantra or whether it will be made available to existing vehicles as a free software upgrade are neither dates nor time frames provided by Nvidia. But in order to stay competitive, it probably needs to move quickly. Honda is considering installing PS5 consoles in its upcoming cars, while Tesla already offers the Tesla Arcade and even Steam in its vehicles.
