The original The Last of Us and its 2020 sequel have been shining examples of superb narrative in gaming, with one of the best video game character developments in recent history, not to mention a story that was both engrossing and sophisticated. Before revealing that she would actually appear in a DLC for The Last of Us, he continues by explaining that he originally intended to write this as a short narrative that regrettably never materialised. But just like the short narrative, this potential material was never published.
