Now that we know, Phantom Liberty will be much larger than any previous expansion the team has undertaken.

The Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine expansions for The Witcher 3 each offer dozens of hours of new adventures along with lovable characters and their storylines, making the studio already well known for its outstanding add-ons. Even though Toussaint was already extremely big and packed with stuff, it appears that Phantom Liberty’s brand-new section of Night City may surpass it. It appears that the devs are putting everything on the line for this future DLC in order to achieve the previously stated objective of selling Cyberpunk 2077 “for years.”

According to Bugdo, the expansion is currently progressing as expected, and the team “feels comfortable with the current condition” of the project.
