You can explore locations from the anime in Cyberpunk 2077, and invite your in-game friends to join you. ‘Night City Interactions – Watson Drinks and Edgerunners locales’ adds ten areas from the show, and makes it possible to invite Jackie, Judy, Panam, River and Kerry to grab a drink. Throughout the mod, new areas are inspired by episodes of Edgerunners, with the mod’s creator focusing on memorable moments from David’s story.
This mod adds a number of bar drinking spots to the game where V can grab a drink, perhaps even share one, according to its creator, Nexus Mods user Deceptious. Find spots where you can sit or lean near some of the iconic locations featured in the Edgerunners anime.”
In the base game, you can hang out with your friends in places such as Tom’s Diner, Lizzie’s, and Afterlife. But the mod also makes it possible to chill at places you’ll recognize from Edgerunners: the Ho-Oh club, Kabuki Roundabout kiosk, Riot, and NID Docks. It is important to note that not all Edgerunners content in 2077 has to be modded in. In-game, you can currently obtain David’s jacket and Rebecca’s shotgun. It is even possible to purchase a BD headset that shows a short clip from the show. Due to its immense popularity, it is likely that more Edgerunners references will be incorporated into the game, although CDPR is remaining tight-lipped at this time.

The next major expansion will be Phantom Liberty, Cyberpunk’s first (and so far only) story expansion. In 2023, this is expected to take place.
