Call of Duty Warzone 2: Shadow Ban Glitch Lets You Kick Players Without Warning – Nearly two months after its release, Call of Duty Warzone 2 is still full of problems and exploits. The most recent one appears to give you the ability to completely shadow ban someone from the game.
User pubgisDEAD submitted a video where they were repeatedly reporting an opponent in the game on the r/CODWarzone subreddit. It’s interesting to note that this wasn’t done to prove that the player was a hacker, but rather to highlight how flawed the game’s reporting is. While spam-reporting the opponent while watching them play, the player was suddenly and mysteriously expelled from the lobby.

This is troubling since it allows gamers to ban anyone from the lobby for the most trivial of reasons. Even if the case is very different if the individual is a real hacker, the majority of people will still report that person to get them banned. It’s a little unfair because you can essentially shadow ban whomever you like by simply spamming reports.
The majority of commenters on the site concur that this is a problem, but some of them didn’t think it was genuinely feasible. The footage, however, speaks for itself. One user even requested that the number of reports made per person be limited, but another countered that even when spamming is occurring, just one report should be made. However, the video gives the impression that it counts as more than that.
