Bethesda’s upcoming Games- A new RPG from Bethesda Game Studios is almost always going to be a huge, epic undertaking. For as long as anybody can remember, that has been the defining characteristic of the developer’s games, from The Elder Scrolls to Fallout, and it should come as no surprise that that will continue to be the case with its next space-faring RPG Starfield.

Bethesda’s upcoming Games
According to a recent rumor, playtesters who have had time with the game say it is much more expansive than they had anticipated, which has impressed and shocked them. That’s according to insider colteastwood, who shared information he learned about the game during playtests on a recent XNC Podcast episode (which you can view below). He claims that Starfield “is bigger and more ambitious than they were expecting” according to playtesters.
It is more substantial than anything Bethesda Game Studios produced for Skyrim, he continues. It “raises” everything that was done in Fallout and Skyrim.

Of course, Bethesda has stated on numerous occasions that Starfield is proving to be its largest project to date. The game’s primary mission, according to the developer, is 20% bigger than in prior games, and it features the most handcrafted content of any Bethesda title ever. Currently, it has more than 250,000 lines of conversation.
Of course, the number does not always equal quality, but Bethesda Game Studios games have a history of achieving a great balance in that area, so there is definitely optimism that Starfield will do the same.
It will be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S in the first half of 2023.
