The Starfield release date will be announced “very soon,” according to Bethesda’s Instagram account for Latin America. This is probably going to happen at the next showcase for the game, which was announced last week.
Microsoft revealed last week that Redfall, Forza Motorsport, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Minecraft Legends would all be featured in a Developer Direct showcase. Additionally, it disclosed that Starfield, unquestionably one of the greatest games in its roster, would be the subject of a separate presentation that is currently being prepared.
Given that it has been a while since Starfield was originally postponed from its original November release date, many have assumed that we might learn the game’s release date during the presentation. That theory appears to be accurate as Bethesda’s Instagram account for Latin America recently said that the release date will be announced “very soon.”

As Redditor MightyPaladin77 reported on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, Bethesda responded to a remark on an Instagram post requesting additional details on Starfield. It said, “We will reveal it very soon, we are preparing a spectacular event for the game,” with the final emoji being a hopeful winky face.

This seems to indicate that the Starfield release date will be revealed at the special game showcase. We don’t yet know when that will happen because we still have to finish the Developer Direct, but the phrase “very soon” suggests that we won’t have to wait for very long.
This should, hopefully, allay any concerns that Starfield may be significantly delayed. Although Redfall’s rumoured May 2 release date is unlikely to be met, Bethesda appears fairly sure that a release date announcement isn’t too far off. Xbox Germany includes a paragraph that states that some of the games shown off at the Developer Direct will receive release dates. This means that Starfield isn’t the only Xbox game that will receive a date in the near future.
