best grenade spots dust 2: When it comes to Counter Strike: Global Offensive, grenade line-ups can make the difference between a win and a loss. When watching professional matches, you will see players throw their utility at seemingly random angles, but it always lands in the right place.
Pro players calculate where they will throw their smokes, HE grenades, flashbangs, and Molotov cocktails in order to ensure that these weapons are used effectively. By doing so, the players are able to utilize their abilities without peering into unsafe corners or pushing. It will cover the best swimming spots, and even though they require some practice, learning where to throw utility will be an advantage.
HE Grenades, Smokes, Flashbangs, Or Molotovs?
There are numerous CS:GO utilities that are incredibly powerful and can make a significant difference in the game. The screenshot above shows a professional player, Golden, achieving an ace with the Molotov Grenade. This article discusses a variety of lineups for all four grenades in CS:GO. It is intended to provide you with lineups that are easy to use and easy to recall. Our Smoke guide provides a more detailed explanation of how to cover almost every spot in Dust 2.
How To Practice Your Grenades In CSGO
It is recommended that you test the new lineups in a custom game before attempting to use them. In CS:GO, utilities are expensive, and you don’t want to accidentally throw a grenade at yourself (if someone claims that hasn’t happened to them, they might be lying).
It is ideal to enable Developer Console in order to participate in custom matches that are specifically designed for practicing your gameplay. Developer Console is a window that will pop up on your screen when you press the ‘~’ button once enabled (or a different button, if you change your settings). If you type various commands into this window, you will be able to change your game settings. You may allow cheating for practice purposes.
How To Enable Developer Console In CSGO
If you wish to enable your developer console and begin using custom commands, please navigate to your settings and select ‘game’. Select ‘Yes’ when asked whether you wish to enable the developer console. As mentioned above, you can now press ‘~’ to open your developer console in CSGO. In your settings, you can also change this button to another of your choice.
Which Commands To Put In Developer Console?
In order to customize settings such as mouse sensitivity, crosshair, viewmodel, and more, it is recommended that you use the Developer Console. As part of our practice for grenade spots on Dust 2, we would like to enter the following information:

|give weapon_hegrenade||This command is used to equip a HE Grenade.|

|sv_grenade_trajectory_time 30||Specifies the trajectory time in seconds and can be changed to any number you like. After those seconds have passed, you will no longer be able to see the trajectory of your grenade.|
|bind n no clip||This command allows you to bind a letter on your keyboard (in this case, ‘n’) to move freely across the map. As a result, you will save time and be able to see where your grenades land. Instead of ‘n’, you may use any letter of your choice.|
You should enter each command in your console separately by hitting enter after each entry.
Best Grenade Spot For B Site Attack And Retake
Popflash For Dust 2 B Site
To use a ‘pop-flash’ attack on B Site, you should enter B Main and stand against the pillar opposite the box shown above.
You should aim your crosshair to the right of the red ‘B’ sign. Run a short distance and throw the ball. As opposed to taking a while and giving opponents time to turn around and avoid being flashed, the Flashbang will detonate almost instantly. A pop-flash serves this purpose.
Smoke For Dust 2 B Site Double Door
Stand behind the pillar, right in the corner.
Throw your Smoke Grenade between the planks of wood, as shown above.
This lineup will cover the main area that should be smoked – the double doors. By doing so, you and your team will be protected from anyone peeking outside of B Doors, Mid Doors, and CT Spawn.
Molotov For B Backsite
In the case of a B push from CT or a retaking of the site, you may wish to Molotov backsite in order to clear the area. Place yourself on top of the box in the corner outside B Doors. Aim your crosshair on the middle dot of the door frame between the two dots. Throw yourself over the wall and jump over it.
Even though it may take a little practice, your Molotov will ultimately land at the back of B Site. In particular, this may be helpful if there is an awper camping on site.
HE Best Grenade Spot For B Backsite
An HE grenade can be used in the same manner as the above lineup. Anyone nearby will be damaged by the explosion before the grenade lands.
Best Grenade Spot For Mid Attack And Retake
Smoke Mid Doors From T Spawn
As soon as you spawn, stand against the short fence facing Mid, and aim for the upper half of the ‘square’ on the wall. Throw your smoke over the wall by jumping.
As Mid Doors have been smoked, you and your team are now free to move around mid freely.
Smoke Mid Doors For A Short Push
The smoke is deployed from the Lower Tunnels. In the Lower Tunnels, stand to the right of the boxes. Aim at the ‘line’ on the wjust below the lamp, and throw your SmokeSmoke.
By utilizing this smoke, your team is able to push A Short without being concerned about the peak from Mid Doors.
Smoke CT For A Mid To B Push
Stand in the corner against the box at the bottom of Mid. On the left side of the building, locate the light rectangle area.
You can see a little dark spot above the black line (click on the screenshot to zoom in and see the crosshair placement). Just a little left of the dark spot, aim.
As a result of this smoke, a Mid to B push will be possible. In order to avoid enemies seeing you enter through B Doors, it is advised that you push Window instead of B Doors.
Smoke For Mid To A
Stand against the arch in the middle, by the lower tunnels. Next, look up above Mid Doors, aim your crosshair just slightly above the pointy pillar, and throw.
By using this Smoke, you will be able to block off a large portion of A from opponents peaking from B, which will allow you to push A from Mid. Combining this with a push from A Long or A Short is also possible.
Best Grenade Spot For A Attack And Retake
Smoke CT From A Short
You will notice a scrooge door on the right side of A Short. If you are facing it, you should stand in its left corner. If it is behind you, you should stand in its right corner. Take a look at A Site, aim at the top of the blue line, and throw.
If you are pushing A from both Short and Long, this Smoke is a great way to block off CT.
Smoke Further Up A Short
Place yourself against the middle of the double door with bars on A Short. After that, aim at the gray spot above the small window and throw the ball.
When your teammates are pushing from a long, a Smoke A Short is a great option. In the absence of your teammates pushing A Long, this smoke is not as effective, as it does not cover the ramp or the car.
Grenades For A Defense
HE Grenade A Short From Under A
On top of the boxes in the corner, go to Under A. Your grenade should be aimed at any location on the left of the building, and thrown.
When you are still in safety, your HE Grenade will be able to hit anyone approaching you.
Flashbang For A Long Doors
Go to the end of the wall and turn around to flash A Long Doors without having to peak. You should aim your crosshair at the center of the telephone sign and throw. Catch your enemies off guard by peaking as soon as the Flashbang detonates.
Mid Defense Popflash
In order to aggressively peak Mid, stand on the right side of Mid (as if you were going to B Site) and align yourself against the arch next to the red arrow. You should aim for the arch opposite you. Refer to the dark spot for guidance.
As shown above, aim as shown in the screenshot (click on the screenshot to see the crosshair placement) and peak as soon as the Flashbang has been popped.
A Long Popflash From CT Spawn
Standing against the right edge of the blue sign will allow you to pop-flash long while in CT. Make sure that you look to the left and up at the green sign as shown above. Once you have right-clicked, turn around so that you do not get flashed, and once again turn around and peak directly after your Flashbang has popped.
B Defense Popflash
Do you remember the B pop-flash for the attacking side? It is possible to use the same pop-flash in reverse as well. Aim at the right of the red sign, run, and throw to activate this pop-flash.
