A single frame from a new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has leaked, giving away the fact that it’s about to be made available to the public.
When is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse going to release?
We haven’t heard anything definite about Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in a while. The eagerly anticipated Into the Spider-Verse sequel, which was originally scheduled to be released by now, was given a hefty delay into June 2023, and we have felt the wait. We haven’t seen a new trailer of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in almost a year, but it appears that one is forthcoming.
A frame from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse that had never before been seen was posted to Twitter earlier today with the comment “Just hanging… waiting” by the user Cryptic4KQual. A few production timestamps can be seen on top of the clip, giving the impression that someone is editing the trailer in the picture.

The frame itself depicts Miles and Gwen sitting next to one other and hanging upside down, with Gwen’s shoulder just barely brushing Miles’. The sexual tension between Gwen and Miles will be a plot component in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which this frame in the trailer obviously seems to be playing up a touch in recent interviews with Chris Miller and Phil Lord.
Although Miles’ suit might appear to be completely new in this image, it is actually the same suit that he wore in the last teaser; we are only now seeing it fully from the rear. Since the logo has been modified to be less spray-painted, Miles now resembles the Insomniac Games version of the character.
It’s impossible to know how far along this trailer is in production at the moment, but the fact that another one is being made and has recently had some of its footage leaked suggests that we will likely be seeing the trailer soon. Perhaps something will be released in time for the original reveal trailer’s anniversary, which is in two days.
